PCESSC Conducts Usapang 4Ps Beneficiaries Meeting

Panabo Central Elementary School–SPED Center (PCESSC) conducted the Usapang 4Ps Beneficiaries Meeting on August 7, 2026, bringing together parent-beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) for an informative discussion on program updates, beneficiary responsibilities and upcoming activities.

The meeting served as an avenue to strengthen beneficiaries’ awareness of the program’s policies and requirements while encouraging their active participation in activities aimed at improving the welfare of their families and learners.

Representatives from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) discussed several important matters concerning 4Ps beneficiaries. Mr. Enrique R. De Asis Jr., Social Welfare Assistant, emphasized the importance of updating Compliance Verification (CV) records, particularly for children tagged as non-compliant. He reminded beneficiaries that compliance with program conditions is essential to their continued participation in the program and receipt of benefits.

Meanwhile, Ms. Mary Kay Unice P. Ekstrom, Social Welfare Assistant, provided updates on the implementation of the new 4Ps Digital Platform, which aims to improve program monitoring, data management and service delivery. The platform is expected to provide beneficiaries with more efficient access to important program information.

A program re-orientation was also conducted by Ms. Mary Ann S. Eblamo, Project Development Officer II/City Link, who discussed updates on the upcoming Social Welfare and Development Indicator (SWDI) Assessment. She also shared developments regarding the UPLIFT Program, highlighting opportunities designed to support 4Ps households toward improved quality of life and greater self-sufficiency.

Ms. Elva Lovella J. Lambo, City Bookkeeper, discussed the proper purpose and utilization of 4Ps grants. She reminded beneficiaries to use the assistance wisely and responsibly, particularly for the needs of their families in the areas of health, education, and overall well-being.

Further reinforcing the discussion, Mr. Joenel T. Occeña, Project Development Officer II/City Link, provided an orientation on the objectives, benefits, and responsibilities of 4Ps membership, helping beneficiaries gain a clearer understanding of the program and its role in supporting Filipino families.
The meeting also provided beneficiaries with an opportunity to raise concerns, seek clarification, and better understand the program’s policies and requirements. They were encouraged to remain compliant, use their grants responsibly and actively participate in succeeding activities and assessments.

As part of strengthening school-community partnership, beneficiaries were also invited to participate in the Bayanihan sa Gulayan sa Paaralan conducted on August 15, 2026. Parents and community members took part in preparing the school garden, an initiative that supports the school’s School-Based Feeding Program while promoting volunteerism, cooperation and shared responsibility for the welfare of learners.

The activity was also graced by the presence of 4Ps Coordinator Mrs. Michelle Camino and Gulayan sa Paaralan Coordinator Mrs. Ena Gay Cabardo, whose support contributed to the success of the activity.Through the Usapang 4Ps Beneficiaries Meeting and other collaborative

A Roof of Hope: Panabo Multipurpose Cooperative Extends Support to PCESSC Canopy Project

A better learning environment is shaped not only by the dedication of educators but also by the partnerships that help schools respond to the needs of their learners.

For the learners of Panabo Central Elementary School SPED Center (PCESSC), the Canopy Project represents more than an infrastructure improvement. It is a practical response to the need for a safer and more comfortable passage within the school grounds.It providing protection from the heat of the sun and the inconvenience of sudden rain.

Recognizing this need, Panabo Multipurpose Cooperative (PMPC) extended financial assistance in support of the school’s Seven -Spans Canopy Project, reinforcing its commitment to community partnership and learners welfare.It is a meaningful demonstration of collaboration and shared responsibility for education.

The ceremonial turnover held on August 20, 2026, brought together faculty and staff, school officials headed by School Principal Ma’am Rosselle N. Pasaporte, parents led by PCESSC SPTA President Ma’am Leonora P. Salang and representatives of the Panabo Multipurpose Cooperative (PMPC). Representing PMPC were Anna Concepcion A. Ras, CCM, Branch Manager of the Panabo Main Branch together with Dave Jann Bautista, Advocacy and Branding Specialist and Marketing Associates Novelyn Vertudazo and Niel Errol Cosal.

For PCESSC, this donation from PMPC is more than material assistance ,it is a symbol of partnership and concern for the learners .

Panabo Central Elementary School SPED Center Shines in STEMAZING

"Celebrating Excellence, Teamwork and the Spirit of Innovation"

Panabo Central Elementary School SPED Center proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of its young STEMAZING contestants who showcased their knowledge, creativity, teamwork and passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in the recently concluded STEMAZING competition.

The school earned two outstanding distinctions across the different key stages, bringing pride and honor to the entire Panabo Central Elementary School SPED Center community.

For Key Stage 1, the dynamic tandem of Keisha Rose A. Olaer and Prince Dave Masumpad secured an impressive 3rd Place finish. Their achievement reflects their dedication, preparation and determination to excel in a challenging competition. Guiding and supporting them throughout their STEMAZING journey was their coach, Ma. Rosario S. Bolonia, whose commitment and mentorship contributed greatly to their success.

Adding another remarkable achievement to the school's STEMAZING journey, Matthew Gray Irog-irog and Selwyn Earl Purisima emerged as Champions in Key Stage 2. Their victory is a testament to their exceptional skills, perseverance, teamwork and readiness to take on greater challenges. They were ably coached by Conrada B. Cacayan, whose guidance and unwavering support helped bring out the best in the young competitors.

The Key Stage 2 champions will proudly represent the school in the Regional Festival of Talents, where they will have the opportunity to showcase their abilities and compete with other talented learners from across the region. The entire PCESSC community looks forward to cheering them on as they take this next exciting step in their journey.

These achievements would not have been possible without the collective effort and support of the people who continuously nurture and believe in the learners. The school extends its heartfelt appreciation to the parents, whose encouragement and sacrifices inspire their children to pursue excellence; to the dedicated teachers and coaches, who patiently guide and prepare the learners and to the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) for its valuable support to the school's programs and activities.

A heartfelt expression of gratitude is also extended to PCESSC School Principal, Ma'am Rosselle N. Pasaporte, Principal IV for her unwavering support, encouragement and leadership. A leader who always believes in the potential of our learners and supports the journey of learners toward excellence. PCESSC Undergoes Regional SPJ Validation, Lauded as Regional Campus Journalism Powerhouse

Panabo Central Elementary School SPED Center (PCESSC) underwent the Regional Validation on the Implementation of the Special Program in Journalism (SPJ) on August 8, 2026.

The successful evaluation was conducted by the Department of Education (DepEd) Region XI validators headed by Dr.Mary Jane M. Mejorada ,Education Program Supervisor (EPS) for the Curriculum and Learning Management Division (CLMD ) together with Dr. Darly D. Lamentac , Education Program Supervisor and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Adjustment / Program Implementation Review (MEA-PIR) focal for the Quality Assurance Division.

Beyond assessing program compliance and curriculum standards, the validating team offered key insights, sharing their technical expertise and actionable recommendations to further refine and elevate the school's journalism program.

The event highlighted the institution’s proven track record and growing momentum in campus journalism, earning resounding praise from the regional panel. Recognizing the school's consistent output of top-caliber student journalists, EPS Mejorada remarked, "PCESSC is a powerhouse not only in the division as well as to Region XI in terms of producing winning writers not only to the region but to the national arena." The endorsement validated the institution's ongoing efforts to nurture critical thinking and ethical reporting among its young learners.

The sustained growth of the program is anchored by strong institutional leadership and administrative backing. Principal IV Rosselle N. Pasaporte committed her full support to the program, pledging continuous guidance alongside dedicated financial assistance to the best of her capability. Furthermore, Assistant to the Principal Anna Mae T. Fuentes played an instrumental role in guiding the preparatory phases. PTA Officials headed by PTA President Leonora Salang and SPJ Parents never fails to give support and positive comments to the program.

The activity came to a successful conclusion through the joint efforts, cooperation and synergy of the PCESSC Journalism Team. Spearheaded by SPJ Focal Person John Bill B. Juen (MT-III), the initiative was carried out with the active involvement of School Paper Advisers Mary Dean P. Pascual (T-III), Rolando P. Grullo Jr. (T-III), May T. Locaba (T-I), Mae Angelica M. Timbreza (T-II), Yossell Meda C. Lofranco (T-II), Gina Gumilan (MT-I), Shyrrell Marjorie J. Auxillo (T-III), Edcel John S. Atuel (T-III), Kailah Marie Espina (T-I), Raquel Araña (T-I) and Paulo Bastasa (T-I), ensuring PCESSC remains at the forefront of elementary journalism in the region.

Panabo Central Elementary School SPED Center, Nakiisa sa Pagdiriwang ng 59TH ASEAN Day

Bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng 59th ASEAN Day 2026, nagsagawa ang Panabo Central Elementary School SPED Center ng Isang makabuluhang gawaing pampaaralan na naglalayong maipabatid sa mga mag - aaral ang kahalagahan ng pagkakaisa, paggalang sa Kultura at pakikipagkaibigan sa mga bansang kabilang sa Association of Southeast Asian Nations ( ASEAN).

Alinsunod sa temang " Navigating Our Future, Together", naging bahagi ng pagdiriwang ang mga mag - aaral at g**o sa pamamagitan ng pagsusuot ng mga kasuotang kumakatawan sa ibat ibang bansa ng ASEAN. Nagdala at nagwagayway rin ang mga mag - aaral ng mga bandila sa mga bansang kasapi ng ASEAN, bilang pagpapakita ng pagkilala at paggalang sa Kani - kaniyang Kultura, tradisyon at pagkakakilanlan.

Nagbigay din ng maikling buod si Ginoong Brian W. Banquil ( Pampaaralang Tagapag-ugnay sa Araling Panlipunan) tungkol sa ASEAN upang mabigyan ang mga mag- aaral ng pangunahing Kaalaman tungkol sa kasaysayan, layunin at kahalagahan nito sa mga bansa sa Timog Asya. Nasundan ito ng isang paligsahan sa larangan ng History Quiz sa ASEAN kung saan nasubok ang Kaalaman ng mga mag - aaral. Matapos ang paligsahan, isinagawa ang paggawad ng mga gantimpala sa mga mag - aaral na nanalo. Pagkatapos ay isinagawa ang pagkuha ng larawan sa pangunguna ng Punong -g**o na si Gng. Rosselle N. Pasaporte kasama ang Pampaaralang Tagapag-ugnay sa Araling Panlipunan, mga Tagapag-ugnay sa Araling Panlipunan ng bawat baitang at mga g**o ng paaralan bilang bahagi ng dokumento at pagpapakita ng sama - samang pakikiisa ng paaralan sa pagdiriwang.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga ganitong gawain, patuloy na ginagampanan ng paaralan ang mahalagang tungkulin nito sa paghubog ng mga mag - aaral na may pagmamalaki sa sariling bansa , paggalang sa ibang Kultura at pagpapahalaga sa pagkakaisa tungo sa Isang mas mapayapa at maulnlad na kinabukasan.

Mabuhay ang ASEAN!!!
Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!!!
