On March 22, 2026, fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Human Resource Management students successfully conducted their exit interview as part of their on-the-job training requirement. The activity was facilitated by the Practicum Coordinator, Maโam Shaira Mae M. Abkilan, who ensured the systematic and organized flow of the evaluation process. Serving as the panelists were Sir Alvin B. Agnaya, LPT, Maโam Kristel Kaye E. Brocal, LPT, and Maโam Joy S. Gonzales, LPT, whose expertise contributed to a comprehensive assessment of the studentsโ practicum experiences. The exit interview provided a formal platform for students to articulate their learning outcomes, professional growth, and workplace competencies.
This academic undertaking ensured that the studentsโ acquired knowledge, skills, and attitudes were aligned with industry standards and institutional expectations. It also served as a critical evaluative mechanism to assess their readiness to transition into professional environments. Through this process, students were able to reflect on their experiential learning and identify areas for continuous improvement. Ultimately, the activity reinforced the institutionโs commitment to producing competent, reflective, and industry-ready graduates.

In celebration of Women's Month, there will be a Gender Awareness Seminar focusing on the Safe Spaces Act (R.A. 11313) on March 24, 2026 (8:00 AM โ 12:00 NN) at the ACES Gymnasium.

The Institute of Business and Agriculture proudly celebrates the successful oath-taking of the Junior People Management Association of the Philippines (JPMAP) APCI Chapter officers, Ms. Mary Grace Dizon, Secretary, and Ms. Angel Mae Semeros, Director for Provincial Convention, as official officers of the JPMAP Davao del Norte Federation. The ceremony was held on March 7, 2026, at UM Tagum College.
Following the ceremony, the officers participated in the federationโs first collective strategic planning session. The activity served as a meaningful platform for collaboration, idea-sharing, and aligning organizational goals for the upcoming term.
This milestone marks not only the beginning of their leadership journey but also a commitment to strengthen partnerships, develop impactful programs, and guide the future direction of JPMAP in the region.

Last February 24โ26, 2026, the IBA Dean, Dr. Elvie D. Onil, together with Sir Jay M. Palparan, RAgr, LPT, and Engr. Jestoni A. Rapal, IBA faculty members, actively participated in the 2026 DAASI 1st Quarterly Meeting of the Deans Association of Agricultural Schools, Inc. (DAASI, Inc.) held at La Sierra Farm, Las Arenas, Pantukan, Davao de Oro.
Carrying the capacity-building theme, โStrengthening Methodological Rigor in Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources (AANR) Research in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,โ the event gathered academic leaders and experts to exchange insights, strengthen research methodologies, and promote innovation in agricultural education and research in the era of emerging technologies. Standing under the banner of the Yellow Growling Lions, the triumph reflects the courage, strength, and dominance that define a lionโs spirit in the wild. Like a lion guarding its pride, the team showed unwavering focus, resilience, and power throughout the competition. Truly, this achievement proves that we are a united pack of lions, roaring toward excellence and victory.
To our IBA student athletes and participants, thank you for the sacrifices you offered in every training session, performance, and challenge faced along the way. Your determination burned brightly like the fierce confidence of a lion hunting with precision and patience.
