NDCI Teachers: Equipped and Prepared
A 2-day In-Service Training for Teachers (INSET) was successfully conducted at North Davao Colleges, Inc. on September 10โ11, 2026. The training aimed to strengthen the schoolโs foundation in bullying prevention, enhance awareness of various intervention strategies, and equip teachers with skills in school-based incident preparedness.
On the first day, Project Development Officer I and Learner Rights and Protection Focal, Ma'am Glady C. Noel, delivered an in-depth session on understanding and handling bullying among students. She emphasized the importance of early detection, reporting mechanisms, and fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
On the second day, the topic shifted to school-based incident and attack awareness and preparedness. This session was led by PLTCOL. Jay B. Nocidal, Officer-In-Charge of Panabo City Police Station, duly represented by PLT. Reamon Belgira, who provided practical insights on emergency response protocols, coordination with authorities, and ensuring the safety of both learners and educators during critical situations.
The program was actively participated in by all teachers from Elementary to Senior High School. This INSET not only enhanced teachersโ knowledge and skills but also reinforced the schoolโs mission of creating a safe, supportive, and resilient learning community.
