Northlink Technological College successfully conducted the National Simultaneous School Safety Drill, strengthening our commitment to keeping our students, faculty, and staff prepared, alert, and ready in times of emergencies.

In line with the DepEd direction to prioritize school safety and psychological well-being, this yearโ€™s drill proceeded without an active-shooter reenactment, recognizing the importance of conducting preparedness activities without unnecessarily simulating traumatic school violence.

The activity was conducted in collaboration with ๐‘ƒ๐ฟ๐‘‡ ๐ท๐‘œ๐‘š๐‘’๐‘›๐‘–๐‘๐‘˜ ๐‘ƒ๐‘Ž๐‘ก๐‘Ž๐‘—๐‘œ, ๐‘‚๐‘๐‘’๐‘Ÿ๐‘Ž๐‘ก๐‘–๐‘œ๐‘›๐‘Ž๐‘™ ๐‘‚๐‘“๐‘“๐‘–๐‘๐‘’๐‘Ÿ of the PNP Panabo City, and ๐‘†๐‘–๐‘Ÿ ๐ด๐‘Ÿ๐‘–๐‘’๐‘™ ๐ต. ๐‘๐‘œ๐‘ฆ๐‘‘๐‘œ๐‘๐‘ž๐‘ข๐‘Ž, Barangay Police Officer of Brgy. New Pandan. Their presence, guidance, and support contributed to strengthening our schoolโ€™s emergency preparedness, safety awareness, and coordination with our local community.

Through this activity, our Northlink community practiced essential emergency procedures, strengthened coordination, and reinforced the importance of preparedness, awareness, and calm response.

Because being prepared is not about creating fear, it is about building a community that knows what to do, how to respond, and how to keep one another safe.

Bago natin natutunang tawaging malaya ang ating bayan, may mga Pilipinong unang natutong tumindig.

Sa bawat kalayaang tinatamasa natin ngayon, may mga buhay na minsang isinakripisyo upang ipaglaban ang kinabukasang mayroon tayo. Sa bawat lupang ating tinatapakan, may mga yapak ng mga taong piniling lumaban para sa bayan, kahit kapalit nito ang kanilang sariling buhay.

Ngayong National Heroes Day, buong puso nating ginugunita at pinararangalan ang mga bayaning nag-alay ng kanilang tapang, panahon, at buhay para sa kalayaan at kapakanan ng sambayanang Pilipino. Hindi lamang natin sila inaalala dahil sa kanilang mga pangalan sa mga aklat ng kasaysayan, kundi dahil sa mga pagpapahalagang kanilang iniwan na tapang, pagmamahal sa bayan, paninindigan, at sakripisyo.

Pagpupugay sa mga bayaning nag-alay ng buhay, at sa bawat Pilipinong patuloy na isinasabuhay ang tunay na diwa ng kabayanihan.
