Don Manuel A. Javellana Memorial National High School successfully conducted a series of Focus Group Discussions among its focus areas from June to July 2026, providing a meaningful avenue for teachers and coordinators to discuss priorities, address concerns, align instructional practices, and strengthen the delivery of quality education.

Beyond these agenda items, the FGDs served as a platform for identifying and discussing focus-area concerns affecting the different subject areas and coordinatorships. The open exchange of insights and experiences allowed participants to collaboratively identify possible solutions and establish directions for continuous improvement.

The conduct of these FGDs reflects DMAJMNHS's commitment to creating a culture of collaboration, reflective practice, accountability, and continuous professional development. More than simply addressing administrative and instructional requirements, the discussions provided teachers with an opportunity to listen, share, reflect, and work collectively toward common goal.

Prayerfulness is not just a routine or an obligation but a lifestyle. J.C. Ryle once said, and far be it from us that we are one of those he spoke about: "I believe that thousands never utter a word of prayer at all. They eat. They drink. They sleep. They rise. They go forth to their labor. They return to their homes. They breathe God's air. They see God's sun. They walk on God's earth. They enjoy God's mercies. They have dying bodies. They have judgment and eternity before them. But they never speak to God. They live like the beasts that perish. They behave like creatures without souls."

Prayer is one of the excellent ways God has provided for us to approach and touch Him. Prayer allows us to be positioned in a place of triumph and victory with Him. Through prayer, we start to exercise our power and authority as we declare what God has spoken. For when we stand with Him through prayer, we accurately speak things from His heart and His throne. We can now declare and see the manifestation of what the Son of God taught us: "Let Your Kingdom come here on earth, and Your will be done as it is in Heaven."

As we live a prayerful life, we become watchful of our ways, our thoughts, and our words. Then we start to practice a changed life, from glory to glory and precept upon precept, until we are transformed in the image and likeness of God. In prayer, we overcome the temptations around us and begin to break our own limitations. As we are encouraged to "watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation," let us pray without ceasing until His desire is fulfilled in our family, our agency, and our nation.

Knowing the power of prayer, "I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting holy hands, without wrath and doubting," because in Him, all things are possible.

We are God's children called by His name to pray without ceasing. We humble ourselves before the Sovereign God and pledge to seek Him and His righteousness in our day-to-day living. If there are any unclean things in our hearts or impurities in our thoughts, we turn from them through prayer. As we pray and seek His face, we also turn from our wicked ways. We believe that God will hear from Heaven, forgive our sins, and heal our land.

Almighty God in Heaven, thank You for providing an excellent way to touch Your heart. It is not by might nor by power but through your Holy Spirit that we can approach You in your holiness and in the beauty of your presence. We break the limitations and bondages through the power and authority You bestowed on us. No powers of darkness or principalities can stop us from approaching You. In the same manner, our nation will never be drawn away from your presence because men and women everywhere have also received the Spirit of supplication. Thus, we start to lift holy hands. On August 5, 2026, Don Manuel A. Javellana Memorial National High School formally welcomed Sir Ronilo Labrador as the schoolโ€™s new Assistant to the Principal through an Installation Program marked by professionalism, unity, and a shared commitment to educational excellence.

The program commenced with the introduction of the new Assistant to the Principal by Maโ€™am Jocelyn B. Eyorcadas, MT-II, Academic Head. The installation was made official through the Reading of the Assignment Order by Dr. Jinky B. Firman, CESO V, duly represented by PSDS Sir Erick Dalumpines.

In his acceptance speech, Sir Ronilo Labrador emphasized the importance of teamwork in leadership, highlighting the value of working together, building trust, and fostering a culture where every member of the school community contributes toward achieving shared goals.

A ceremonial giving of token was led by Maโ€™am Edarlina C. Bitang, together with the Master Teachers and Grade Headsโ€”Maโ€™am Marfe G. Mencidor, MT-II; Maโ€™am Jocelyn B. Eyorcadas, MT-I; Maโ€™am Maria Socorro H. Gargar, MT-I; Maโ€™am Nalifer L. Palma, MT-I; and Maโ€™am Leny C. Abis, SHS Focalโ€”symbolizing a warm welcome and the collaborative leadership that they will share in advancing the mission of DMAJMNHS.

The installation was further strengthened by messages of support from valued stakeholders: Hon. Wilfredo Mendio, Barangay Captain of DAPCO; Pastor Antipas Saylo Jr., SPTA President; Sir Cyrus Barcena, Faculty Vice President; and Ms. Ma. Hezyl Guimerey, SSLG President.

The occasion was also graced by PSDS Jeanne Bajao; the PASSHA Team headed by Sir Manuel Esperanza, PASSHA President; teachers from Sindaton National High School; selected teachers from DMAJMNHS; SSLG Officers; and SPTA Officers, whose presence added significance to this important milestone.

Ang tema ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 ay nagpapaalala sa atin na ang AI o Artificial Intelligence ay maaaring maging katuwang sa pag-aaral, pananaliksik, at pagkuha ng impormasyon. Gayunpaman, mahalagang tandaan na ang AI ay kasangkapan lamang at hindi kapalit ng ating kakayahang mag-isip, magsuri, at magpahayag gamit ang Wikang Filipino.
Sa panahon ng mabilis na paglaganap ng impormasyon, tungkulin nating gamitin ang Wikang Filipino bilang wika ng pag-unawa, pagsusuri, at paghahanap ng katotohanan. Sa wastong paggamit ng teknolohiya at sa patuloy na pagpapahalaga sa ating pambansang wika, mas maipapakita natin na ang Filipino ay nananatiling mahalagang tulay sa kaalaman, pagkakaisa, at pag-unlad ng sambayanang Pilipino.
Mula sa Mataas na Paaralang Don Manuel A. Javellana, nakikiisa kami na ipinagmamalaki ang Wikang Filipino tungo sa bansang may matatag na pagkakakilanlan at maliwanag na kinabukasan.

At approximately 7:06 AM today, July 28, 2026, an earthquake was felt in the area. In response, Don Manuel A. Javellana Memorial National High School immediately activated its emergency response protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of all learners, faculty, and staff.

Through the swift and coordinated actions of the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Team, headed by Sir Cyrus C. Barcena, all learners, teaching personnel, and non-teaching staff were safely evacuated to the designated safe areas. The school extends its sincere appreciation to the SDRRM Team, faculty, and staff for their prompt response and cooperation during the incident.

After conducting the necessary safety assessment, we are pleased to inform everyone that all learners, faculty, and staff are safe.

Classes are NOT suspended and will continue as scheduled. Likewise, the Summative Tests will proceed as planned.

In one of the buildings of the Supreme Court of the Philippines, located on Padre Faura St., Manila, two statues stood before its portals. One is Moses, holding the tablets of the Ten Commandments. At the same time, the other is Lady Justice, wearing a blindfold and holding a balanced scale in her left hand and a sword in her right. What do these two personas have to do with justice? Moses is known to have received the Ten Commandments from God, on which most of Jewish ethics, civil laws, and religious laws are based. On the other hand, Lady Justice is the allegorical personification of what justice should beโ€”fair, just, and equal โ€”carefully weighing the strength of the case as the basis for the verdict and only given by those in authority, as symbolized by the sword. Moses represents the laws, while Lady Justice represents the conformity to the laws.

Justice is the quality of being just, impartial, and fair. It is sometimes correlated with moral rightness or righteousness. It is the principle or ideal of just dealing or right action. It may be a system of law in which every person receives their due, including all rights, both natural and legal. Although justice is intangible, we can perceive its presence or absence indirectly through people's situations and relationships. Where there is criminality, oppression, lawlessness, and corruption, there is injustice. When the law is fulfilled, and nothing has been broken, there is justice. Where there is peace between the hearts of men, there you can find justice.

Judges, justices, and rulers are expected to possess this core value, as they are the people in authority vested with the power to judge whether a specific act or omission conforms to the scale of truth and the rule of law. As they are assumed to possess competence and be imbued with power, they are also expected to act with the utmost care and exercise judgment that is untainted, unbiased, and not based on whims or caprices. However, this does not mean that only the aforementioned people are expected to act justly. We as a people have to respond with justice in every transaction, dealing, and task. Give to every person what is due, what is fair, and what is right. If we are in the front-line services, our customers and clients must receive the best service from us. If we are in the rank and file, provide excellent service and honor those above youโ€”this is but right. If we are in the administration, we must provide the most conducive physical and spiritual atmosphere in the office so that there is truth, equality, righteousness, peace, and joy in the workplaceโ€”this is but fair. If you are in a managerial or supervisory position, treat those below you with respect, love, and care because they are your partners in fulfilling the vision and mission of your agency or institutionโ€”it is only to do so.

In all our dealings, make sure that we conform to the rules, regulations, laws of the land, and moral codes, and that we keep track of our walk with justice. "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirableโ€”if anything is excellent or praiseworthyโ€”think about such things." If we do this, we are walking in justice.

๐€๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ ๐๐‹๐€๐:
๐ŸŒท Reflect on whether there are people in the family, workplace, or your neighborhood whom you have shortchanged and not given due justice to. Try to recall what made you do it and identify the cause. If you have the chance, how can you correct it and improve it? Resolve within yourself that when you are confronted with the same circumstance, you will do the right thing.

๐ŸŒท How can you establish justice in your home, workplace, and community? Are there things you are seeing around you where your action can make a difference in curbing, if not eliminating, injustice? What can you contribute to bringing forth justice in these areas? Make an action plan to establish it in your life gradually.

๐ƒ๐„๐‚๐‹๐€๐‘๐€๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐:
We are law-abiding citizens and conduits of justice in our nation. We will not delay justice because justice delayed is justice denied. We will do what is fair, what is just, and what is right. We will give every person what is due to them. We say no to cruelty, oppression, and injustice. We will uphold what is right. Justice is established in our families, workplaces, and communities through our lives. We are the living justice, as the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, and the Lord is our king!

๐๐‘๐€๐˜๐„๐‘:
Lord, we come before you, and we ask forgiveness if we have been channels of injustice in the past. Allow us to yearn for your precepts that we may have a deeper understanding of what is right, fair, and just before your eyes. Give us the wisdom to judge when confronted by circumstances accordingly. Allow yourself to remember that ultimately, you will be the judge of all. Help us and guide us. These we ask in the name of our Lord, amen.
