Today marked the official opening of classes at Mabunao National High School for School Year 2026โ2027. We were filled with excitement and optimism as we welcomed our learners back to school and formally began another year of learning, growth, and achievement.
However, during the conduct of our opening program, an unexpected earthquake occurred. In response to the situation and prioritizing the safety and well-being of everyone, the Local Government Unit of Panabo City immediately issued a memorandum suspending work and classes at all levels across the city.
Despite the unforeseen circumstances, we are deeply grateful for the cooperation, support, and dedication shown by our school community and stakeholders.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to:
โ
Our ever-supportive Parents and Students
โ
Hon. Boss JM Relampagos, City Councilor, for generously providing arroz caldo for our learners
โ
Ma'am Moonlien Jane Estemada, DepEd Panabo City Division Nurse, for her immediate assistance during the earthquake and for conducting the debriefing and post-earthquake assessment of our learners
Your presence, assistance, and commitment helped ensure that our learners remained safe, calm, and cared for during this unexpected event.
As we move forward, let this experience remind us of the importance of preparedness, unity, and resilience. Challenges may arise without warning, but together, we can overcome them with courage, cooperation, and faith.
To our learners, may this school year be filled with meaningful learning experiences and opportunities for growth. To our parents, stakeholders, and partners, thank you for continuing to walk alongside us in our mission of providing quality education.
Let us continue to prioritize safety while remaining steadfast in our commitment to learning and excellence.
Together, we rise. Together, we learn. Together, we succeed.
