Dear Maryknollian Parents and Families,
To further strengthen the safety and security of our learners, faculty, personnel, and families, the Maryknoll College of Panabo, Inc. is implementing additional precautionary and preventive measures across the campus, effective immediately.
Please be guided by the following reinforced security protocols:
1. Enhanced Security Screening
-Enhanced bag inspection and metal detector checks will be conducted at designated entry points.
-Junior High School and Senior High School female students shall use the Black Gate, located near the candle area of the Sto. Niรฑo Parish Church, as their entry point.
-Junior High School and Senior High School male students shall use the Main Gate as their entry point.
2. Increased Security Personnel
All members of the school community are expected to cooperate fully with security personnel during screening and monitoring procedures.
3. Strict Monitoring of Entry and Exit Points
Entry and exit points will be strictly monitored and regulated.
-For JHS and SHS students, the designated exit point shall be the -black gate.
-For Grade School pupils, the designated entrance shall also serve as their exit point.
-Grade School parents/guardians may enter only up to the second entry gate along the pathway. For pupils who need assistance with their belongings, parents/guardians may coordinate with the SSLG, who will assist in bringing the belongings to the pupilsโ classrooms.
4. Coordination with Law Enforcement
The school will continue its coordination with the Panabo City Police Office to support campus security and maintain police mobile presence in the vicinity of the school, as needed.
5. Parentsโ and Guardiansโ Cooperation
The school humbly asks for the cooperation of all parents and guardians in conducting a simple safety check of their childrenโs bags, belongings, and personal items before sending them to school. This small but important step will help ensure that learners bring only the necessary and appropriate items to campus and will contribute significantly to our collective efforts to maintain a safe and secure learning environment.
We kindly ask everyone to remain vigilant and to cooperate fully with our security personnel while inside and around the school premises. Please expect additional time for security screening at the gates and plan your arrival and pick-up schedules accordingly.
These measures are being implemented as a preventive and precautionary response to ensure that Maryknoll College of Panabo remains a safe, secure, and conducive environment for learning and formation.
