Distribution of Reading Materials for Key Stage 1 (K–3) Learners

Glecerio L. Dondoy Central Elementary School successfully conducted the distribution of Reading Materials for Key Stage 1 (K–3) Learners from September 14–17, 2026 headed by maam Angielee Amor Ramirez our LRDMS COORDINATOR, pursuant to Memorandum BLR-2026-07-1851 and Regional Memorandum CLMD-2026-423.

A total of 601 Kindergarten to Grade 3 learners received two reading materials each, carefully selected to support literacy development, reading engagement, and independent learning.

The materials distributed were:

Kindergarten: Kulay and My Jumbo Learning Workbook
Grade 1: Munting Patak-Ulan and Si Putot
Grade 2: Ano Kaya Ako Paglaki? and Message in the Sand
Grade 3: Ang Bayang Maaksaya sa Tubig and Ang Masisipag na Langgam

The activity was made possible through the support and initiative of the Schools Division Office of Panabo City – Curriculum Implementation Division – Learning Resource Management Section (CID-LRMS), led by Ma’am Djhoane C. Aguilar, EPS.

The distribution was successfully completed, ensuring that learners have access to appropriate reading materials that can be used both in school and at home, including during class suspensions and other learning disruptions.

Upon the opening program of the Boy Scout of the Philippines (BSP) and Girl Scout of the Philippines (GSP) Joint Camporee on September 10, 2026 at Panabo Central Elementary School SPED Center, Sir Basilio A. Mana-ay, CESO VI talks to the scouts and scouters and asked this specific question on "kinsa?"

Sir Bas reminded all the scouts to be responsible even if no one is watching. He added that they should be helpful at all times. It should not only because for grades but most importantly because it is the right thing to do.

A good reminder especially to this generation of scouts.

Human touch in learning

Schools Division of Panabo City conducts Curriculum Enhancement Seminar - Workshop across five learning areas: English, Filipino, Science, Mathematics and GMRC at Ritz Hotel, Davao City on September 7 - 9, 2026.

Five Glecerian teachers attended the said activity, recalibrating the teaching learning process on the said learning areas.

Upon the opening program of the Curriculum Enhancement, Sir Basilio "Sir Bas" P. Mana-ay Jr., CESO VI stated "Iba pa rin ang may human touch". He pertains to the perseverance and dedication of the teachers to continuously provide quality and meaningful education to the learners. The same teachers who are supposed-to-be enjoying the kick off program for the World Teachers Day.

Sir Bas also added that the need for the Curriculum Enhancement Seminar to create an arena of professional development for all teachers.

But above all else, Sir Bas reminded the teacher - participants to also "take care of yourself once and for all".
