Empowering Teachers Through Action Research

On August 13, 2026, the teaching personnel of Glecerio L. Dondoy Central Elementary School successfully conducted a School-Based Learning Action Cell (SLAC) session on “Empowering Teachers Through Action Research,” facilitated by Mr. Dhan Febmar S. Cajegas, SEPS, as Resource Speaker.

The session provided teachers with meaningful insights on how action research can be used to identify classroom challenges, develop practical solutions, and improve teaching and learning practices. Through active participation and collaborative sharing, teachers were inspired to become reflective practitioners and researchers in their own classrooms.

The successful conduct of the SLAC strengthened the school’s commitment to continuous professional growth, innovation, and evidence-based improvement truly living by the spirit of “Research. Reflect. Improve. Empower.”

Project COUNTS: Celebrating Teachers’ Strength

Glecerio L. Dondoy Central Elementary School (GLDCES) proudly welcomed the 11 School Heads together with 2 PSDS of Panabo South District 1 for Project COUNTS: Creating Opportunities, Unlocking Teachers’ Strengths on August 11, 2026 ,the visit focused on recognizing the dedication, preparedness, and strengths of teachers through classroom monitoring and the search for the Best Functional Classroom.

The recognition was truly inspiring, with

Ma. Sarah A. Mier and Gretchen Dee C. Cuabo sharing the First Place;

Joanne Mae Olive L. Dandoy taking Second Place; and

Joan L. Catalan earning Third Place.

School Head Ma’am Rosemarie S. Patriarca expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Ma’am Ma. Nenita G. Tuazon and Sir Julius I. Suelto, the PSD1 Focal Supervisors, together with the 11 participating school heads, for making Project COUNTS a meaningful celebration of teachers’ commitment and excellence.

The teachers of GLDCES showed that readiness is more than preparation it is a reflection of passion, dedication, and love for teaching. Congratulations, Glecerians! Indeed, in Project COUNTS and in every classroom, we are all winners!

"Kamustahan at Lakbayan sa Paaralan" with the Division Guidance Coordinator

Part of the commitment of the Division Guidance Coordinator, Ma'am Juliet D. Raganas is the visitation of the school and its teachers and learners.

The program "Kamustahan at Lakbayan sa Paaralan" is a designed activity of the Schools Division Office of Panabo City under the coordinatorship of Ma'am Raganas. This aims to check the total welfare of the learners and give Technical Assistance (TA) if duly needed to School's Designate Guidance Advocate thru Ma'am Jeralin G. Poliquit.

The "kamustahan" with the teachers and children was held last August 6, 2026.

Under the leadership of Ma'am Rosemarie S. Patriarca, Principal IV and Ma'am Jeralin G. Poliquit, Master Teacher I, the activity is genuinely carried out.

PAKIGTAGBO rates 100%

After several weeks of preparation for the Panaboans' Action on KSA Intensification through Giving of Technical Assistance Greared Towards Best Outcomes (PAKIGTAGBO), the school reached 100% success rate since all the teachers (Advisory and Academic) were all been observed by their respective scheduled Education Program Supervisors ( EPS) and Public Schools District Supervisors (PSDS) on August 6, 2026.

Right after every class session, Technical Assistance (TA) followed between the supervisors and the teachers.

Right after the observation, feedbacking was conducted. Attendees of the said activity are EPS, PSDS, Ma'an Rosemarie S. Patriarca , Principal IV, Ma'am Analyn A. Camillo, MT III and Ma'am Jeraline Poliquit, MT I
The supervisors came early. They were welcomed by the school head, Ma'am Rosemarie S. Patriarca, Principal IV. Also, under her leadership, the school prepared sumptuous lunch and snacks shared by everyone.

"Ready ang tanan para sa PAKIGTAGBO. Daghang salamat sa mga teachers" Ma'am Rose stated as gratitude towards the supervisors and the Glecerian teachers themeselves.

This is the main reason of the 100% success rate of the PAKIGTAGBO conducted in the school.

Isinagawa ngayong araw ang pambungad na palatuntunan sa Buwan ng Wika. Ayon sa Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino, inaanyayahan ang lahat ng mga Pilipino na itaguyod ang Wikang Filipino sa paggamit ng makabagong teknolohiya at artipisyal na katalinuhan (AI).

Samakatuwid, ang tema ngayong taon ay "Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon".

Samantala, ang ating paaralan ay nagsagawa ng palatuntunan kagaya ng Isahang Awit at Interpretatibong Sayaw; at ang mga g**o at mag aaral ay nagsuot ng katutubong kasuotan.

Soar high July: A SLAC Implementation

GLDCES, Cagangohan, Panabo City - School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) in July 2026 administered in three phases: Welcoming of new faculty members; ALIVE Updates; LRMDS - LRMIS Orientation; SLAC Session Topics in Science and Reading.

Due to instructional block which can not allow the teachers to easily attend meetings or discussions, SLAC in July is full packed.

First, the new faculty members were formally welcomed by Ma'am Rosemarie S. Patriarca, Principal IV together with the teachers and staff last July 30, 2026.

They are the following teachers:

Sir Dalenard Gillega - Grade 4 Adviser
Ma'am Queenie Yangke Gallos - Grade 3 Adviser
Ma'am Shira P. Turtur - Grade 5 Adviser
Ma'am Angielee Amor L. Ramirez - Grade 5 Adviser
Ma'am Lucia A. Paraiso - Grade 6 Adviser

Right after the short introduction and welcoming, the activity proceeded to ALIVE Updates that were presented by Ustad Alaica A. Zailon and Ustad Abdul P. Bustamante. They presented the Muslim values and traditions.

Then, Ma'am Angielee Amor L. Ramirez oriented the teachers on the new LRMDS feature which is Learning Resource Management Information System (LRMIS). She briefly guided the teachers on how to access and fill up the demographics needed therein.

The last part of the SLAC is the presentation of Sir Celso B. Lomotos Jr. pertaining Science and Ma'am Flora May A. Briones on Bridging Gap on Reading.

It was the longest SLAC implementation but it was all worth it.

GLDCES Officially Launches SBFP Hot Meals for SY 2026–2027

Glecerio L. Dondoy Central Elementary School (GLDCES) officially launched its School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) Hot Meals today, July 23, 2026, marking the start of another year of promoting learners' health and nutrition.

A total of 427 SBFP beneficiaries from Kindergarten to Grade 6 received freshly prepared, nutritious hot meals aimed at improving their nutritional status, supporting their overall well-being, and helping them stay active and ready for learning.

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the collective efforts of our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, valued stakeholders, and school personnel. Special appreciation goes to our SBFP Focal Person, Ma'am Aimee Ompad De Vera, for her commitment in implementing the program, and to our School Principal, Ma'am Rosemarie S. Patriarca, for her unwavering leadership and support.

Together, we continue to nourish minds, strengthen bodies, and build a healthier future for every GLDCES learner.

GL DONDOY CES Successfully Conducts Deworming Day

Glecerio L. Dondoy Central Elementary School successfully conducted its School Deworming Day on July 22, 2026, promoting the health and well-being of its learners.

Prior to the activity, an orientation was conducted on June 21, 2026 by the medical personnel from the Schools Division Office of Panabo City, led by Dr. Hintay, to ensure the safe and proper implementation of the program.

The success of the activity was made possible through the collective efforts of the school, parents, and partners, with the invaluable support of Hon. Mayor Jose E. Relampagos and Executive Assistant Ma'am Jo Anne Relampagos through the Sa Palugaw initiative.

GL DONDOY CES extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this health program a success, reaffirming its commitment to keeping every learner healthy, safe, and ready to learn.
