Isa sa mga classroom routine namin ay ang pagkopya ng mga salita, parirala, at pangungusap na aming binasa.

This may look simple but it has powerful role in the pupils' learning. Reading allows the learners to recognize words, while writing helps them remember, understand, and use the words meaningfully. Kapag sinusulat ng mga bata ang mga salitang binabasa nila, they do not only memorize the letters --- they are strengthening the connection between what they see, what they say, and what they write.

For young learners, especially in Grade 1, literacy develops best when reading and writing work together. Copying reinforces correct letter formation, spelling, and word structure. It also helps children build confidence as they see their progress on paper.

Aside from this benefit, nakakatulong din ang pagsusulat in:

✅ strengthening fine motor skills
✅ improving word recognition skills
✅ building memory and retention
✅ encouraging focus and discipline
✅ strengthening reading-writing connection

Structure. Discipline. Consistency.

Hindi dahil napag-iiwanan.

Pinapaiwan sila dahil may nakikita akong maaari pang palakasin.

Ang pagpapaiwan ay hindi PARUSA;
ito ay PAGKAKATAON.

Falling behind in a lesson is not a sign of weakness. Sometimes, a child only needs a quieter space, a slower explanation, or a teacher who will say, "You can do this. I'm here to help you."

That’s why I spend extra time for them. In those moments, I hear questions the child could not ask in front of the class. I can re-teach the lesson in a way that matches their learning style. Most importantly, I let them feel that they are not a burden—just learners with potential waiting to be developed.

In the primary grades, one-on-one teaching is truly effective.
This is why teachers consistently remind and encourage parents to guide their children with reading drills at home.

Reading is the foundation of all learning—
it opens doors to understanding Math problems,
comprehending Science concepts,
writing with confidence,
and expressing ideas clearly.
When a child reads well, everything else becomes easier.

That’s why we must take reading seriously.
It’s not just another task—it’s an investment in a child’s future.

And this is where teamwork matters most.

Teachers can guide, support, and teach in school…
but parents complete the learning at home.
When both teachers and parents work together,
children grow faster, learn better, and gain confidence step by step.

Let’s build strong readers by working hand in hand.
Because every child deserves the gift of learning—and it starts with reading. 📚❤️

I just can’t understand… bakit nga ba ang bilis ng mga bata maka-memorize ng characters sa paborito nilang movie o mobile game, pero hirap na hirap pagdating sa alphabet at pagbasa?

Simple lang ang dahilan.

Nakasanayan na nila. Routine na ang panonood at paglalaro sa araw-araw kaya paulit-ulit nilang naririnig, nakikita, at nagagamit ang mga characters. The more they see it, the more familiar it becomes—kaya mabilis nilang natatandaan.

Ganito rin sa pagbabasa.

Kung ang reading ay nagiging bahagi ng araw-araw na routine—hindi lang sa classroom kundi pati sa bahay—mas mabilis at mas magaan ang learning process. Reading becomes familiar, natural, and enjoyable for them.

Reading is not just a lesson. It’s a habit. It’s a practice that grows stronger with consistency. Kahit 10–15 minutes a day, malaking tulong na para sa bata.

Parents and teachers, let’s work together. Establish the routine. Create the habit. Build the love for reading. Walang batang hindi matututo—kulang lang minsan sa oras, gabay, at practice.

Reading becomes easy when it becomes a lifestyle. 💛📚
