IN PHOTOS: Every third Sunday of the month, the Benedictus Minor Seminary choir leads the community singing during the 4 oโ€™clock Eucharistic celebration at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Dolores, City of San Fernando.

The said Mass is concelebrated by our formators. It is also graced by the presence of our seminarians' parents and family members.

Our heartfelt thanks to the OLSP community, especially to Fr. Dines Pineda, Parish Priest, for their continuous support of all the Minor Seminary endeavors.

Through the lens of our minor seminarians, here are glimpses of some of the activities held during the week-long celebration.

IN PHOTOS: The Minor Seminary family celebrated the second PFA Mass of this formation year at the MGCS Main chapel. The Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by our SD, Fr. Jas, and was made even more meaningful by the presence of the families of our minor seminarians. The choir and instrumental ensemble were led by our Director, Fr. Flo.

During the Mass, the newly elected PFA officers were inducted and blessed. And as part of the turnover of responsibilities, the image of the Mother of Good Counsel Seminary was formally entrusted to the new set of officers. A brief meeting with the Procurator also followed after the Mass.

As we journey through this formation year, we pray that our seminarians will continue to grow into "teens with hearts for their families" โ€” รกnak a atin malalam a tayid karing pamilya da.

Veni, Sancte Spiritus!

The MGCS community gathered to celebrate the annual Mass of the Holy Spirit which was presided over by our dear Archbishop, Abp. Florentino Lavarias, together with the seminary formators. It marked the formal opening of a new formation year.

During the celebration, the newly appointed formators were also installed in their respective ministries: Rev. Fr. Jerome Roque was installed as Director of Formation for the Propaedeutic Formation Stage, while Rev. Fr. John Lu Allan Nucum was installed as Spiritual Director. Rev. Fr. June Siccion was likewise installed as the new Seminary Procurator.

The community leaders also pledged their commitment to faithfully serve their respective communities during the first semester.

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and strengthen the entire seminary community throughout this formation year!
