We keep adding value to Cameroonians. When our goal of every Cameroonian owning a product or a service is fully established, then we can seat up comfortably. Before then, digital literacy is our mantra, exposure to all career paths and functional skills is what we pursue with diligence and truth.

We remain committed to combating unproductivity and ignorance, both in general and digital contexts. Our approach to implementing necessary changes to foster a conducive environment for quality employment is deliberate. Consequently, we have set an ambitious target to equip 1000 young individuals with skills that can enhance the business landscape in our nation.
At the GASA Skills' centre, our focus is on four key sectors: education, technology, business, and agriculture. We recognize that establishing systems that can bring about significant impact will decrease unemployment rates.
Furthermore, we acknowledge that the root cause of unemployment lies in an education system that fails to meet the needs of the population. While awaiting systemic reforms, we are intensifying efforts to empower youths, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to navigate the job market effectively.

Unemployment is largely a problem of the graduates than that of the state. When youths are largely unprepared for what is ongoing in the global, national ans local communities, they will fail to achieve their dreams. They will equally lack the strength to build strong entrepreneurial base that can harness growth and development.
Its important that we choose skills over laziness, hand-to-mouth living, comparism, ignorance and above all complaints.https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScpTfjYVrG7Sfc_LIqfnh8us4F-itvv28iRKXajGznXwYnb9g/viewform?usp=publish-editor

One day capacity building on digital awareness, practice and transfer of competences to learners held at Progressive Comprehensive College in Bamenda to equip and inform the teaching staff of the importance tech skills.
This was held on December 10th to enhance the 16days awareness to end digital violence on women. Emphases was reinforced on the teacher to arm the girls in schools to be digitally wise and earn skills that can enable them to also compete with their male counterparts online. If the female students master using technology so well, it will shun people from intimidating them. This is to counter the general idea that only the boy child is fit and capable of doing Science. Ending violence also entails encourage the girl child to be part and parcel of STEM EDUCATION.
Teachers were equiped with skills on content creation, photo & vidéo editing, creation of Google forms, web development. This is to ensure that the large school population that is made up of 55% girls can gain from the knowledge and in turn arm themselves.

This is how we saw it this weekend. Our objective is making sure that those in underprivileged environments match up with the revolutionary changes in Education. While we are focusing on the psychomotor development of those in cities centres to develop hands-on practical skills in education especially in Computer development, we do not forget that there are so many out there who have not even understood what it means to go to school. This is why we make it a habit every year by going round villages to do this gestures. This year, our focus was on Matazem in Menka in Santa Sub-Division.
You can always participate in this gesture.

Happy International Day of the girl child. In the past, many girls in Cameroon were prepared only for marriage. Most of them were never accepted to go to school like the boys. But today, through sensitization and education, the women/girls not only go to school but they choose careers of their choices.
It's been a long journey for us, since we always move into enclaved villages to ensure that these children are all seated in class. This year, our journey to Matazem Menka in Santa Sub-division was interropted by the long lock down initiated in the Anglophone speaking Régions of Caneroon. This year, our target is reaching out to 2000girls in nursery, primary and secondary schools in the days ahead.

We are fully embarking on the awareness strategy this month, to strategically and intentionally pick out women in those ghetto communities and the vulnérables in particular to train on elementary adult literacy programme.
The problems of education, and unemployment are embedded in families where women can neither read nor write. When a woman does not understand herself, talk less of understanding the communities in which they live; it will absolutely be very difficult for such persons to raise up children that have mentally strong abilities. This is where our problems of poor education, poverty and unemployment thrive. The poverty problem in most parts of Cameroon is the poverty of the mind.
We do this simultaneously alongside our mentorship programe for students and workers. For the people who admire and want to thrive at their best, we offer personalized trainings that bring out the capacity in you that make you to stand tall in the job market.

From a theoretical system of education that leaves many traumatized and unemployed, GASA has a focus, lifting children from the streets and giving them hands-on skills that will enable them gain self-employment. We are particularly focused on gaining IT skills because Computer Literacy is the nouvelle currency of the future. We can't accept that Cameroonian children be kept aside for this revolution again.
Everyday at the GASA SKills Centre, we train a good number youths, children and even adults on how to use computer machines and leverage on the poverty that hunts us. Our focus and determination is to build an industry in technology that is worth more than Silicon Valley in the US. Join us at work. Buy a computer and put at the training centre, buy a camera or just something that can help these young Cameroonians thrive.
