The Pinwheel extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who became part of our journey in the 2026 Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC). More than a competition, this experience became a meaningful celebration of courage, creativity, truth, and the power of student journalism.

Our deepest appreciation goes to San Roque-Pambujan Vocational High School, under the leadership of our School Principal, Dr. Joseph A. Ortecio, for continuously believing in the potential of our student journalists and for providing the support and encouragement that allowed The Pinwheel to proudly represent our school. Behind every journalist who dared to write, photograph, report, and tell stories was a school community that stood firmly behind them.

We are equally grateful to our generous stakeholders, especially to the local government unit of Pambujan led by Mayor Owen Lamberto L. Siervo, our beloved parents, teachers, and supporters who extended their helping hands and resources throughout this journey. Your generosity became part of every preparation, every practice, every challenge overcome, and every achievement celebrated. Your support reminded our learners that their dreams are never pursued alone.

And, of course, this journey would not be complete without celebrating one of our shining moments. Congratulations to Manny N. Granada for placing SECOND in Pagkuha ng Larawang Pampahayagan, together with his dedicated coach, Mr. Wilfredo B. Bacuetes! Your achievement is a testament to patience, creativity, technical skill, and the courage to capture stories through the lens.

To our 13 student journalists and 6 school paper advisers, you have made us proud. Every deadline you conquered, every story you crafted, every photograph you captured, and every lesson you learned has made The Pinwheel stronger.

The journey may have ended at the DSPC, but the stories continue.

The Pinwheel will keep turningโ€”anchored in truth, driven by purpose, and empowered by a community that believes in the voices of the students.

Padayon, The Pinwheel! ๐Ÿ“ฐ๐Ÿ“ธโœ๏ธ

Unit I - Grass Unit
Unit II - Water Unit
Unit III - Electric Unit
Unit IV - Fire Unit

In his opening remarks, SSLG Adviser Mr. Wilfredo Bacuetes welcomed everyone and emphasized the importance of unity in building a positive school community. To liven up the atmosphere, the SSLG Officers led an energetic zumba energizer, encouraging the whole crowd to stand, move, and enjoy a moment of fun before the formal sessions began.

Mr. Bacuetes then discussed the schoolโ€™s regulations and rules, explaining how proper discipline and respect create a safe and orderly environment for learning.

Officers from the RPSB Cababto-an/PNP Pambujan followed with a timely talk on Anti-Bullying and the Kontra-Droga Campaign. They stressed the value of respect, empathy, and making responsible choices to protect oneโ€™s future.

Health and wellness were next on the agenda as School Nurse Nilma Regulacion shared practical tips on maintaining physical and mental well-being amid academic demands. Mrs. Conchita Tan also spoke, reminding students that the guidance office is always open to support them through personal and school-related challenges.
