𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 9th Day Novena & Vigil Mass to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

On the afternoon of the 18th of June, 2026, the Sacred Heart Seminary community gathered in prayer and devotion as they held a solemn procession around the Seminary compound.

The celebration of this day's novena continued in the evening with the Holy Mass, presided by Rev. Msgr. Jaime Villanueva, as he celebrates the gift of priesthood on his golden sacerdotal anniversary of ordination.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Eighth Day of the Novena to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

On the evening of June 17, 2026, the Sacred Heart Seminary community gathered at the Seminary Main Chapel for the eighth day of the Novena in honor of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Msgr. Wilfredo Alejan, as he celebrates the gift of priesthood on his 50th anniversary of ordination.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus continue to draw us closer to His love and inspire us to live as faithful disciples after His own Heart.

Earlier this morning, the Sacred Heart Seminary community attended symposiums on awareness of health awareness on diseases such as tuberculosis, HIV, and hepatitis, along with an orientation in basic emergency response. The sessions were led by Andre Carlo De C. Veyra, Vivian A. Cezar, Maria Francisca F. Palicpic, and Jastine Jade R. Cabillan.

In the afternoon, the Bureau of Fire Protection of Palo, Leyte, gave their own symposium about fire prevention and suppression, followed by a fire emergency drill held at the Seminary quadrangle.

These talks help seminarians realize that formation is not only about nurturing the mind and the soul, but also preparing the hands and heart to serve others. Through learning about health, disease prevention, emergency response, and fire safety, they are better equipped to become a source of care, support, and hope in the world.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Seventh Day of the Novena to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

On the evening of June 16, 2026, the Sacred Heart Seminary community gathered at the Seminary Main Chapel for the seventh day of the Novena in honor of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Ephren Alberto, as he celebrates the gift of priesthood on his 40th anniversary of ordination.

This morning, Monday, June 15, 2026, the Sacred Heart Seminary formally opened the academic year with its first Flag Ceremony, marking the beginning of classes across the Junior High School, Senior High School, and College Departments.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Manuel Baybay Jr., Rector, and Rev. Fr. Jonathan Raagas, the new Principal of the Junior and Senior High School Departments. Also in attendance were the other formators and members of the faculty and staff who will journey with the seminarians throughout the school year.

On the evening of June 15, 2026, the Sacred Heart Seminary community gathered at the Seminary Main Chapel for the sixth day of the Novena in honor of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Antonio Sevilla, with the homily delivered by Rev. Fr. Eligio Mativo, as the community continued its spiritual preparation for the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Fifth Day of the Novena to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

On the evening of June 14, 2026, the Sacred Heart Seminary community gathered at the Seminary Main Chapel for the fifth day of the Novena in honor of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Jubal Meneses, with the homily delivered by Rev. Fr. Alvin Nicolasora. Joining them in the Eucharistic celebration was Rev. Fr. Arnold Aurillo as concelebrant, as they offered thanksgiving for their 30th anniversary of priestly ordination.

On the evening of June 13, 2026, the Sacred Heart Seminary community gathered at the Seminary Main Chapel for the fourth day of the Novena in honor of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Crisologo Motril, with the homily delivered by Rev. Fr. Gabriel Daffon. Joining them in the Eucharistic celebration was Rev. Fr. Ruben John Manito as concelebrant, as they gave thanks for the gift of priesthood on the occasion of their 5th anniversary of ordination.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Romeo Gomez, with the homily delivered by Rev. Fr. Carlos Rodriguez, as they joined in thanksgiving for their 30th anniversary of priestly ordination.
