They deserve and earn the recognition. For Principle I, we have Ma'am Lo**ta G. Dolina and Sir Marlo Reyna. For Principle II, we have Ma'am Rosa C. Hundangan and Ma'am Maria Elanie G. In any school, parents are indeed one if not the main pillar and source of support and linkage. Thus, giving them the opportunity to take active part in promoting quality teaching and learning is a must.
Last October 7, 2021, the school held a meeting with the incumbent GPTA Board primarily to give updates and present a comprehensive report on the status of the school handwashing facility, the GPTA project of S.Y. 2020-2021.
During the same meeting, the election of the GPTA Board for S.Y. 2021-2022 was also conducted. With the presence of the HPTA Officers of the current school year and our very own teachers, the school was able to elect its new set of GPTA officers who are set to be inducted on October 15, 2021.
Big thanks to our EleCom. headed by its chairmain, Sir Baltazar N. Patiga, Jr. for leading the selection process and to all the parents and teachers for making another successful activity.

Last September 10, 2021, Kauswagan National High School conducted the School Monitoring and Evaluation Assessment (SMEA) for Quarter 3 of C.Y. 2021. This activity was spearheaded by our SMEA Coordinator Mrs. Remalyn Tablason Pada-on and involved the school's Admin. and the rest of its teaching staff. We were also joined by Hon. Donatila C. Bato, Committee on Education Chairperson, who represented the school's stakeholders.
Through this activity, the school was able to: gather correct and updated data about Access, Quality, and Governance; discuss and make/propose solutions to present issues and concerns in school; and identify problems that need to be reported to higher authorities.
With the quarterly conduct of this activity, we are hoping that the school will be able to address and give quick solutions to its existing problems and give a precise and religiously made report on access, quality, and governance during the conduct of the Area Monitoring and Evaluation Assessment (AMEA).

The multidimensional aspect of health has been given more emphasis with the prevalence of COVID-19. And with the shift of modality in learning from face-to-face to modular induced by the existing pandemic, mental health issues concerning students have become more common.
In connection, as mandated by the Department of Education, the school employed an intervention to safeguard the mental health of our learners. That is through the distribution of Psychological First Aid (PFA) modules. These supplemental modules aim to help students cope with the stresses brought by the pandemic and guide them in the transition to the new normal in learning.
Together with the parents and other stakeholders, the school continues and will continue to provide psychological assistance to our learners in this school year 2021-2022 for them to move forward and beyond the worries brought by this health crisis.
