The contestants for Bethel's Got Talent performed on April 10, 2026

On Friday, April 10th, Bethel had the finals of the Bethel's Got Talent. Because of the heat of the day the venue was moved from the high school gym to having two performances in the auditorium so that the venue could be airconditioned. The first performance was for Elementary students and parents and the second was for High School students and parents. All elementary and high school contestants performed for each showing.

Due to the incoming Tropical Storm Basyang, we are postponing the Ben-Hur Play originally scheduled this week for everyone’s safety. Here are the new play details:

Bethel's Book Week - In most schools book week means reading a book, but at Bethel, because we want to stimulate creativity, we ask students, to not just read a book, but to also write a book. We are very proud of the books our students wrote this year. They have been on display in the hallway of the first floor of the Kanluran building.

On January 14th, a selection of Bethel 10th and 11th Grade students performed Ben-Hur: A Tale of Christ. There will be a special additional performance of this play for Bethel parents and alumni on February 6th.

In the Philippine school system the month of August celebrated the national language of the Philippines as well as Philippine culture. As a result, Bethel International School had a Barrio Fiesta celebration on Saturday, August 30th at 4 p.m. It was held in Bethel's High School Gym and was attended by our 330 students as well as teachers, parents and grandparents. Most of the attendees dressed in Philippine costumes.
