🌟 We had an amazing time during the 2024 Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW)! 🚀 The event, themed “Bluer and Smarter Eastern Visayas: DOST Providing Solutions and Opening Opportunities,” took place from June 25-27 at the People’s Center and Library in Tacloban City. 📚🏛️

🌟 STAR Fest 2024: Tinker Clubs at Leyte Normal University! 🌟

We’re thrilled to be part of the Science Teacher Academy of the Regions (STAR) Fest 2024, an inspiring event held last June 19-20 at Leyte Normal University. STAR Fest was organized by the DOST-Science Education Institute in collaboration with DOST Region 8, Leyte Normal University, and DepEd Region 8. This year’s fest highlights the pivotal role of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education in shaping the future. 📚🔬

A massive thank you to all the dedicated teachers, enthusiastic students, supportive parents, and passionate science and mathematics enthusiasts who visited our exhibit and showed such great interest in our exciting new initiative—The Tinker Tour! 🚀

Tinker Tour aims to bring hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) learning activities to at least 100,000 students across the Philippines over the next three years through our innovative Mobile/Pop-up Tinker Stations. These stations are designed to travel to different locations, making STEAM education accessible and engaging for students everywhere. 🚌💡

We’re excited to officially launch The Tinker Tour on August 2024 and reach more students, fostering a love for STEAM subjects and inspiring the next generation of innovators!
