Differentiating CASING and SURVEILLANCE:
Casing is reconnaissance or surveillance of a building, place or area to determine irs suitability for intelligence use or its vulnerability in an intelligence operation while;
Surveillance is the continuous or prolonged observation of a targeted individual, group of people or organization by clandestine means to gather information relative to an open criminal investigation.
To sum it all up. The difference between the two is obvious. Casing are for places and Surveillance are for people.

RA 9262: Violence Against Women and Children. This is a law that seeks to address the prevalence of violence against women and their children by their intimate partners like their husband or ex-husband, live-in partner or former live-in partner, boyfriend/girlfriend or ex-boyfriend/ex-girlfriend, dating partner or former dating partner.
It is herebey declared that the State values the dignity of women and children and guarantees full respect for human rights. The State also recognizes the need to protect the family and its members particularly women and children, from violence and threats to their personal safety and security.
