The Online Orientation for the Utilization of the Supplementary Learning Resources in the Division Library Hub was conducted to ensure that recipient schools and district personnel are fully oriented on the borrowing scheme, management, monitoring, and effective utilization of the Supplementary Learning Resources (SLRs) available in the Division Library Hub. The activity aimed to strengthen support for literacy development and improve access to quality learning resources for both learners and teachers.
The orientation was participated in by District Supervisors, Central School Heads, District School Librarians, Library-in-Charge personnel, District Administrative Officers (AO), Property Custodians, and District Alternative Learning System (ALS) Teachers.

An online meeting was conducted with the recipient schools of the additional Library Hubs—Dr. Geronimo B. Zaldivar Memorial School of Fisheries, Hilongos National Vocational School, and Isabel National High School. The activity focused on the discussion of the Library Hub Manual, forms and templates, and other guidelines to ensure the effective management and implementation of Library Hub operations. Participants were also provided with updates and clarifications on procedures and reporting requirements to support the delivery of library services in preparation for the opening of classes.

The Schools Division conducted an online orientation on June 1, 2026 with the school librarians and library-in-charge personnel from the 53 recipient schools of the Division-Procured SLRs in the elementary, junior high school, and senior high school levels. The activity aimed to prepare schools for the effective utilization and proper management of the Division-procured Supplementary Learning Resources (SLRs) for the opening of classes.

Under the leadership of LR Supervisor Ismael Posion and Division Librarian Bella Alberca, and with the valuable assistance of ALS teachers, the continuous technical processing of regionally sourced Supplementary Learning Resources (SLRs) is being carried out to facilitate their systematic distribution to schools for borrowing, ensuring that learners and teachers have timely access to quality reading materials that support instruction and literacy development.
