🌿✨ San Jose Elementary School proudly launches the PSTP TL COMET Project & EcoBayanihan: San Jose Community Sustainability Project!✨🌿
Today marks a significant milestone for our school and community as we officially launch the TL COMET Project led by our dedicated Teach for the Philippines Teacher Leaders, Ma’am Rhea R. Danatil and Sir Marvin P. Orbeta. Now in their 2nd year of fellowship, they are required to implement a Community Engagement Project, and this initiative showcases their deep commitment to sustainable, community-centered development.
Before the launching, Program Manager Sir John Lawrence Carandang visited San Jose Elementary School to meet the Teacher Leaders’ co-teachers and pupils. This early engagement strengthened collaboration and demonstrated genuine support for the TLs and their project.
The program began with a solemn prayer and national anthem, followed by the warm welcome of Ma’am Maricel V. Amescua. Our Teacher Leaders then introduced the mission of TFP and presented the TL COMET Project with clarity, passion, and purpose.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to the supporters who shared their inspiring messages:
• Sir John Lawrence Carandang, PSTP Program Manager
• Sir Lutgardo L. Pulga, School Head
• Hon. Leovigildo C. Amolo, Barangay Chairman
• Hon. Jayson James N. Lorenzo, Committee on Education
• Sheena Mae B. Roaring, SELG President
• Rheana Jen E. Villablanca, Yes-O President
Special appreciation to Sir John N. Ramos, School Teacher President, for delivering a heartfelt closing message that perfectly wrapped up the program.
And warm thanks to Ma’am Jalibee R. Dagami, our Master of Ceremony, for ensuring a smooth and engaging program flow.
After the launching, Program Manager Sir John Lawrence Carandang held one-on-one coaching and mentoring sessions with the Teacher Leaders, guiding them in strengthening their instructional skills, administrative responsibilities, and community leadership.
Today’s gathering is a powerful reminder that meaningful change happens when a community moves together. With strong leadership, united support, and a shared commitment to sustainability, we take another step toward a cleaner, greener, and more empowered San Jose. 🌱💚
