Nakiisa ang Sultan Kudarat State University–Palimbang Campus sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika ngayong Agosto 2026, na isinagawa sa Flag Raising Ceremony noong Agosto 24, 2026.

Ang makabuluhang pagdiriwang ay 𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐚 𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐒𝐁𝐎)–𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 bilang pagpapahalaga sa kahalagahan ng wikang Filipino bilang daluyan ng kultura, kasaysayan, pagkakakilanlan, at pagkakaisa ng bawat Pilipino.

Sa pamamagitan ng paggunita sa Buwan ng Wika, binibigyang-diin ang papel ng wika hindi lamang bilang kasangkapan sa pakikipagkomunikasyon, kundi bilang salamin ng ating kasaysayan at pagkakakilanlan bilang isang bayan. Sa isang pamayanang binubuo ng iba't ibang kultura, tradisyon, at wikang katutubo, mahalagang kilalanin at igalang ang pagkakaiba-iba habang pinahahalagahan ang mga bagay na nagbubuklod sa atin.

Ang selebrasyong ito ay nagsisilbing paalala sa buong SKSU–Palimbang community na ang pagmamahal sa sariling wika ay pagmamahal din sa ating kultura, kasaysayan, at pagka-Pilipino.

Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa Student Body Organization - Palimbang Campus sa pangunguna sa pagdiriwang at sa pagbibigay-buhay sa isang selebrasyong nagpapahalaga sa ating wika at kultura.

The Office of the Registrar of Sultan Kudarat State University–Palimbang Campus participated in the 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒐𝒏-𝒘𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝑶𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑩𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒏 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒔 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑺𝒚𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒎 (𝑹𝑴𝑺) 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒔, held on August 20, 2026, at Batallones Hall, Notre Dame of Marbel University–IBED, Koronadal City.

Representing the SKSU–Palimbang Campus was 𝐄𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐚, 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟, who took part in the orientation and capacity-building activities focused on strengthening records management practices among school registrars and registrar personnel.

The activity provided an avenue for participants to gain updated knowledge and practical insights on the Records Management System (RMS), particularly on the proper organization, management, preservation, and handling of institutional records. It also promoted greater understanding of efficient records management practices that support accurate documentation, accessibility of information, accountability, and quality administrative service.

Through continuous professional development and participation in capacity-building initiatives, the SKSU–Palimbang Office of the Registrar remains committed to improving its records management practices and ensuring efficient, reliable, and responsive services to students and other stakeholders.

Today, August 21, Sultan Kudarat State University – Palimbang Campus joins the nation in commemorating Ninoy Aquino Day, a day dedicated to remembering the life, courage, and sacrifice of former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.

Ninoy’s journey reminds us that standing for one’s principles often requires courage, especially during challenging times. His sacrifice became part of the country’s continuing story toward freedom, democracy, and meaningful participation in nation-building.

As we remember his legacy, may we also reflect on our own responsibility as Filipinos: to value truth, uphold democratic ideals, respect one another, and contribute to a society where every voice matters.

May this day inspire us to carry forward the values of courage, patriotism, and service to the Filipino people.

𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟑 | 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐋𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋 𝐈𝐈𝐈 𝐑𝐄-𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

The third and final day of the Level III Re-Accreditation of the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) Program of Sultan Kudarat State University–Palimbang Campus was marked by a strong sense of hope, gratitude, and accomplishment as the accreditation activities formally concluded at the QMS Building, SKSU–ACCESS Campus, Tacurong City.

After three days of intensive presentations, document validation, interviews, and meaningful engagements with the accreditation team, the BEED Program looks forward with optimism to the possibility of being granted Level III Re-Accredited Status. The experience provided an opportunity not only to demonstrate the program's accomplishments but also to reflect on areas for continuous improvement and further strengthening of its commitment to quality teacher education.

The successful completion of the three-day accreditation would not have been possible without the collective efforts of the 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲, 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟, 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 who worked together in preparing the necessary documents, responding to the evaluators' inquiries, and presenting the program's practices and accomplishments.

The SKSU–Palimbang Campus also extends its sincere appreciation to the SKSU Administration, under the leadership of 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐂𝐲𝐫𝐮𝐬 𝐄. 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞ñ𝐚, 𝐃𝐏𝐀, 𝐌𝐍𝐒𝐀, for the unwavering support and institutional direction provided throughout the accreditation process. Our gratitude likewise goes to the 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐃𝐫. As the three-day accreditation comes to an end, we carry with us not only the hope for a favorable result but also a renewed commitment to continuously improve the BEED Program and provide quality, responsive, and transformative teacher education.

The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) Program of Sultan Kudarat State University – Palimbang Campus continued its Level III Re-visit Accreditation on Day 2, August 19, 2026, at the QMS Conference Room, SKSU ACCESS Campus.

The second day focused on the presentation and validation of documents for the identified re-visit areas, particularly Faculty Development and Extension Programs.

The Faculty Development area was presented by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐏. 𝐀𝐤𝐦𝐚𝐝, highlighting the program’s initiatives, accomplishments, and continuing efforts in strengthening the professional growth and development of its faculty members.

Meanwhile, the Extension Programs area was presented by 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐭. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐅𝐚𝐡𝐦𝐢𝐲𝐚 𝐃. 𝐊𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐛, showcasing the BEED program’s extension initiatives, community engagement, and efforts to translate academic expertise into meaningful service to the community.

The presentations reflected the collective commitment of the BEED faculty and the entire SKSU-Palimbang Campus to continuous improvement, quality assurance, and responsive teacher education.

Day 2 successfully accomplished! With dedication, teamwork, and shared commitment, the BEED family continues to move forward in its pursuit of academic excellence.

The Sultan Kudarat State University joins the Ateneo de Zamboanga community and the entire Filipino nation in mourning of the tragic shooting incident at Ateneo de Zamboanga University involving a minor student.
We extend our deepest sympathy to the families, classmates, teachers, and loved ones of those who lost their lives and to those who were injured and traumatized by this heartbreaking incident. We also acknowledge the profound grief surrounding the young perpetrator who later took his own life. No family, no school, and no community should ever have to experience this kind of tragedy.
Schools must remain places of learning, safety, hope, and belonging. Violence has no place in any educational institution.

This incident reminds us that protecting our students cannot be the responsibility of schools alone. It calls for the collective effort of parents, teachers, school administrators, students, law enforcement agencies, mental health professionals, local governments, and the wider community. We must work together to strengthen security, promote responsible behavior, recognize warning signs, address conflicts early, and create environments where young people feel safe enough to seek help.
At Sultan Kudarat State University, we take seriously our responsibility to protect the welfare and security of our students and personnel. We will continue to review and strengthen our safety measures, emergency preparedness, campus security protocols, and systems of support for our students.

Beyond security measures, however, we must also build a culture where people look after one another, where concerns are reported early, where students are heard, and where problems are addressed before they become tragedies.
We strongly condemn acts of violence that endanger innocent lives. At the same time, we urge everyone to remain calm, responsible, and compassionate. Let us avoid spreading unverified information, disturbing images, or videos that may further traumatize families and communities.

In this difficult moment, let us stand together in sympathy, solidarity, and prayer for the victims, their families, and the entire Ateneo de Zamboanga University community.
May this tragedy strengthen our resolve to make every school a safer place for every learner.

The first day of the accreditation visit brought together the BEED faculty, administrators, and concerned personnel as they presented the faculty extension and faculty development members.

The gathering was simple, filled with conversations, laughter, and memories shared among colleagues. More than a formal farewell, it was a heartfelt celebration of the years Sir Randy spent as part of the SKSU–Palimbang family.

The send-off concluded with a message from Sir Randy, expressing his sincere gratitude to SKSU–Palimbang Campus and his colleagues for the experiences, friendships, support, and memories he gained throughout his years of service.
