With the theme โProwess of the Sea: Waves of Sportsmanship, Currents of Camaraderie, Tides of SDGs,โ ISU Palanan officially opened its Intramurals 2025 with excitement and unity flowing through every corner of the campus!
The day began with the introduction of muses and escorts representing each program, followed by the invocation, national anthem, and ISU hymn. Opening messages from our beloved campus coordinator that inspired everyone to embrace fair play, teamwork, and integrity throughout the games.
The Lighting of the Torch and the Oath of Sportsmanship symbolized the start of an event driven by passion and discipline.
Students showcased their talents and creativity through Poster Making, Chalk Art, and Photo Exhibits โ all centered on this yearโs powerful theme. Meanwhile, the thrill of competition took over with exciting matches in Volleyball, Basketball (5v5 & 3x3), Badminton, Beach Volleyball, Track and Field, Javelin Throw, and Shut put.
The stage also came alive with amazing performances in Vocal Solo (Pop and Kundiman), Vocal Duet, Choir, and Spoken Poetry, proving that ISU Palanan students shine both in sports and the arts.
Day 1 wrapped up with smiles, cheers, and sportsmanship โ a true testament to the universityโs spirit of camaraderie and excellence.
