The main *objectives* of a simultaneous earthquake drill are:

1. *Preparedness*: Ensure individuals know how to respond safely during an earthquake (e.g., "Drop, Cover, and Hold On").
2. *Coordination*: Test communication and emergency response systems across schools, workplaces, or communities.
3. *Awareness*: Reinforce earthquake risks and proper safety protocols (e.g., evacuation routes, assembly points).
4. *Evaluation*: Identify gaps in preparedness and improve future response strategies.

These drills help communities practice resilience and reduce panic during real seismic events.
