“𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫.”
Seven Senior/Cadet Girl Scouts from Pagudpud National High School and one from Caraitan Integrated School representative from Ilocos Norte-Laoag Council, Northern Luzon Region participated in the 44th Gsp National Camp hosted by Eastern Mindanao Region held on February 13-18, 2026 at Alano Regional Program and Training Center, Toril Davao City.

This national event aimed to strengthen leadership, camaraderie, patriotism, and environmental stewardship among young girls and adult leaders. With the theme “Padayon: Girls Leading the Way to Peace and Solidarity”, girls were awarded as 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 and 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐰 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲 in Sub-Camp 3.

Truly, the one of a kind fun-filled high energy experiences of these girls namely: Cadet Scout Jherel Daphnie Jesual, Sr. Scout Janinah Angel Wong,Sr. Scout Henette Althea Lagundino, Sr. Scout Mariane Pedronan, Sr. Scout Sahmara Nathally Reyes, Sr. Scout Meishen Fei A. Ceria and Sr. Scout Jben Chlouie B. Tomas learned valuable life skills during their stay in camp, living in tents, preparing meals, and managing time efficiently fostered them responsibility and discipline that they can apply in school, community, and future leadership roles with the assistance of their Troop Leader Mrs. Nueralyn A. Ceria.

Finally, on behalf of Pagudpud NHS famliy participants extend their sincerest gratitude to GSP Ilocos Norte-Laoag Council headed by Atty. Corazon-Ruiz Abad, Council President, Ms. Nobella Ruiz, Council Executive for choosing girls from Pagudpud NHS as the representative in the National Level, to our beloved Municipal Mayor Hon. Rafael Ralph L. Benemerito II, to our Monitoring Supervisor Dr. Rajah Adib G. Reyes, to our very supportive dear School Principal, Mr. Neil Ericson T. Acob, our Head Teacher III, Mrs. Karen Jane C. Maniego, dear parents who supported this young girls morally, spiritually, and financially on their scouting journey, to their benefactors Kuya June and Mam Elaine Espejo, thank you, thank you so much…. above all to God almighty who always protect and guide them during their camp.

In the pursuit of greatness in the field of Science, Technology, and Mathematics for environmental conservation through innovation and research for a much more sustainable future, Pagudpud National High School showed its hundred percent support and commitment.

On the recently concluded Association of Science Educators in the Philippines (ASEP) 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 held at Baguio City, February 13-15, 2026, students from Pagudpud National High School emerged victorious in multiple categories.

In line with its flagship program, 𝑯-Healing Environment that aims to maintain high standards of cleanliness, follow comprehensive procedures to hygiene, and to provide basic medical assistance to the students, Pagudpud National High School would like to extend its gratitude to 𝙃𝙤𝙣. Pagudpud National High School is deeply grateful to BFP RegionOne Pagudpud Ilocos Norte for their quick response in flashing away the mud, and to the Municipal Government of Pagudpud for the kind approval of our request to use a pay loader in clearing the sand left behind by Supertyphoon Nando. Your help came at a time when we needed it most, and it brought not just relief, but hope. Thank you for being part of our journey toward restoration.
