Headed by School Principal Elizabeth F. Gutierrez, the teachers of Mapagong-Alupaye Elementary School (MAES) actively participated in the Joint Viewing Session and Orientation on Learning Systems Reform Policies for Teachers, held on May 14, 2026, at the Pagbilao East Elementary School Covered Court.
The activity brought together educators and representatives from various schools under Pagbilao District I, aiming to deepen their understanding of the latest educational reforms and policy directions set by the Department of Education.
The orientation was designed to equip teachers with updated knowledge regarding learning system reforms that promote quality, inclusive, and learner-centered education. Through meaningful discussions and presentations, participants gained valuable insights concerning policy implementation, curriculum improvements, and effective teaching practices aligned with the departmentโs goals and standards.
MAES teachers displayed great enthusiasm and commitment throughout the activity, recognizing that continuous professional development is essential in delivering better and more relevant learning experiences for every learner. The session also served as a vital avenue for collaboration and shared understanding among schools in the district, fostering unity as they work together toward educational excellence.
As education continues to evolve, MAES remains dedicated to supporting programs and initiatives that enhance teachersโ competencies and strengthen the delivery of quality education. MAES teachers also express their sincere gratitude to the organizers of Pagbilao District I for the successful conduct of this meaningful activity, and look forward to more collaborative and enriching learning engagements in the future.
