ZDSEC || Joint BSP and GSP 2025
What an incredible and action-packed day for our Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts! The event was filled with exciting and meaningful activities that strengthened teamwork, discipline, and leadership among our young scouts. From challenging survival skills and outdoor games to creative exhibitions and group tasks, every scout proudly showed their enthusiasm and dedication.
One of the highlights of the day was the much-awaited Hari at Reyna ng Campo, where scouts confidently showcased their talents, charm, and scout spirit. Truly, the spirit of camaraderie, service, and adventure was alive throughout the camp!
Kudos to all the participants, leaders, and teachers who made the Joint BSP and GSP 2025 a memorable and inspiring success! ๐ฒ๐๏ธ๐๐

Championing Inclusive Education: ZDSEC at the Mindanao Leg Training
In August, the dedicated School Head of ZDSEC represented the institution at the Mindanao Leg: Inclusive Education Training held in Cagayan de Oro City. This significant seminar gathered school leaders from across the region to deepen their understanding of inclusive educationโensuring that learning environments cater to the diverse needs of all students. The training provided valuable insights, strategies, and collaborative opportunities to strengthen inclusivity in schools. ZDSEC || JOINT NUTRITION MONTH CULMINATION and ACQUAINTANCE PARTY ๐
The ZDSEC Campus โ Bomba came alive with color, energy, and community spirit as it marked the Culmination of Nutrition Month in a joyful joint celebration with the Acquaintance Program. The day was filled with lively dance presentations, exciting games, and creative poster and slogan-making contestsโall aimed at promoting health, wellness, and artistry. Parents joined the festivities, cheering on the students and sharing in the laughter and fun.
The acquaintance segment gave learners the chance to meet new friends and foster camaraderie, building connections that will strengthen the school community. Truly, it was a day of learning, bonding, and celebration.

This enhancement equips educators with clearer standards and more relevant strategies for engaging, meaningful learning. True to ZDSECโs commitment to excellence, our dedicated School Head has never hesitated to send teachers to participate in crucial trainings, ensuring they are well-prepared to implement these changes. With united efforts, DepEd Pagadian City Division and ZDSEC strive to provide not only access to education, but an education that empowers learners for life and beyond.

June 16, 2025 โ ZDSEC remains steadfast in its noble mission of providing the quality education that every learner rightfully deservesโan education that nurtures not only the mind but also the heart and character of each student.
Last July 2025, our ever-dynamic and visionary School Head actively participated in a significant fora held in Zamboanga City, an event dedicated to enriching the various aspects of education. The 2025 Private School Summit, also hosted in the city, served as more than just a platform for imparting knowledge to school leadersโit became a wellspring of inspiration, bridging the gap in social learning and fostering collaboration among educators.

November 18-19, 2024
This year, on November 18-19, 2024, Zamboanga del Sur Educational Center Inc. successfully held their joint BSP and GSP encampment with the theme "Sustaining GrowthโWomen of Today, Girls of Tomorrow." The participating students were grouped into four teams: Blue Wolves, Red Phoenix, Green Vipers, and Pink Panther. The groups were diverse, with students from both the main campus and annex campus.
The event officially started at 8:30 in the morning with the flag raising ceremony, affirming the commencement of all activities. This was followed by the banner making and hoisting, where each team proudly displayed their creativity and teamwork in crafting their banners, which were later raised high as symbols of their unity and spirit. The ceremony marked the beginning of all physical activities related to the event. Students from different year levels and teams completed various tasks given by their guild masters. The two-day activity truly empowered the students' skills, leadership, and promoted sportsmanship and camaraderie with the support of their teachers and parents. From small activities to bigger ventures and challenges, the students enjoyed their time immensely.
The nightly activities featured campfires as the highlight, including showcases of the studentsโ unique talents and gifts.
In terms of showcasing both beauty and brains in the midst of survival, candidates from each team surpassed the challenges, with the help of the encampment jury. The winners were determined, with Red Phoenix declared the winners of Mr. BSP and Ms. GSP. The runners-up were Team Pink Panther, Green Vipers, and Blue Wolves. Each candidate demonstrated their poise during the production number and through different categories and attire.
In the end, Team Blue Wolves brought home the beacon as the overall champions of all activities, under the guidance of their guild masters Sir Ginggoy Alajeรฑo and Ms. Sahira Hasim.
Following them, Red Phoenix took first place under the supervision of Ms. Maricris Dela Cruz and Mr. Mark Marvin Garcinez.
Second place went to Team Green Vipers, guided by their supportive masters, Mr. Michael Biscayno and Ms. Laiza Bamonde.
Lastly, Team Pink Panther placed fourth under the guidance of their active masters, Ms. Ely Oracion and Ms. May Nobleza.
Overall, the event ran smoothly and ended perfectly, with children's smiles seen on their faces.
