LOOK: Two out of four participants from the Balangasan Central Elementary School Young Journalists' Guild have been recognized as toppers during the recent Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) 2026 held on March 5-9 in Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte.

Silayan's Aleeyah Bianca Baterna turns as 3rd Placer in Kartung Editoryal and The Glimpse Power's Leireen Joelle Yuson turns as 4th Placer in Copyreading and Headline Writing.

This great accomplishment brings much joy and pride as they bring home honor to our school.

Other two participants - Sathria Nicollette Vicente and Aubree Gaelle Duran turn as Top 10 finalists in Pagsulat ng Balitang Isports and Editorial Cartooning respectively.

Congratulations to the young journalists and coaches - Mr. Bethuel Blen, Mrs. Joyce Sherry Catacutan Pandoy, Mrs. Rowena Dumaguit Siso and Mr. Jomar Richa.

LOOK: BCES Tennisters dominate PCDAAM 2025 tennis tournament

Balangasan Central Elementary School Tennisters has dominated the Pagadian City Division Athletic Association Meet 2025 in the Tennis Tournament Elementary Level, organized by the Tennis Technical Officials, headed by the tournament manager, Mr. John Ledama last December 10-12, 2025 at Tennis Court, Dao Sports Complex, Pagadian City.

BCES is one of the schools comprising the City West District - Unit III in the elementary level.

The following are qualifiers for the upcoming Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Athletic Association (ZPRAA) Meet to be held in Isabela City, Basilan in February, 2026:
1. Nigel Andree C. Lumayag - Gold Medalist (Boys Category)
2. Chorl Andrie Dominic A. Sanchez - Silver Medalist (Boys Category)
3. Princess Juchel P. Lerias - Gold Medalist (Girls Category)
4. Micah Jane J. Abanto - Bronze Medalist (Girls Category)

The winning official ZPRAA Meet coaches are Mr. Junbert Balladares Pangasian, for the boys category, and Mrs. Margie Paalisbo Abrea , for the girls category. Both are teachers from Balangasan Central Elementary School.

Other declared winners are Carl Nathan Cagoco and Gramer Baroro of Southern Mindanao Colleges-Elem Department, bronze medalists, Athena Kyle Pedregosa of Camp Abelon ES, silver medalist, and Hasna M. Colo of Tiguma ES, bronze medalist.
