𝐒𝐂𝐂 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝟖𝟗.𝟏𝟗% 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐒𝐖𝐋𝐄

Saint Columban College (SCC) Social Work graduates posted an 89.19% overall passing rate in the September 2026 Social Workers Licensure Examination (SWLE), exceeding the 76.27% national passing rate by 12.92 percentage points and placing the institution’s overall performance above the national benchmark in the nationwide licensure examination.

The performance also placed SCC as the school with the highest passing rate among institutions in Pagadian City and Zamboanga del Sur.

First-time takers posted a 90.32% passing rate, with 28 of 31 examinees passing the licensure test.

Meanwhile, five of six repeaters passed, giving the group an 83.33% passing rate.

The successful examinees are graduates of the Social Work program under the College of Teacher Education, Arts and Sciences (CTEAS) of Saint Columban College.

The examination results reflect the performance of Social Work graduates from various higher education institutions nationwide, with the PRC releasing the official list of successful examinees and school performance following the examination.

Panagdait! | Muslim Legal Holiday
Pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 1083 otherwise known as Code of Muslim Personal Laws of the Philippines, "MAULUDDIN NABI" is a recognized Muslim Legal Holiday. It falls on AUGUST 26, 2026 (Wednesday), which corresponds to 12th day of Islamic Rabbi'ul Awwal 1448 Hijrah.

Under Art. 170. Provinces and cities where officially observed - (1) Muslim Holidays shall be officially observed in the province of Basilan, Lanao Del Norte, Lanao Del Sur, Maguindanao, North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Zamboanga Del Norte and Zamboanga Del Sur, and in the Cities of Cotabato, Iligan, Marawi, Pagadian, and Zamboanga City and in such other Muslim Provinces and Cities as may hereafter be created. (2) Upon proclamation by the President of the Philippines. Muslim Holidays may also be officially observed in other provinces and cities.

Classes and Office Transactions will resume on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
