𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 I SCHOOL STANDARD PROCEDURES AND GUIDELINES IN ENSURING SCHOOL SAFETY AND SECURITY

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026 Guidelines on Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment for school safety, emergency preparedness, and child protection, Sta. Lucia National High School hereby institutionalizes standardized security protocols through the school memorandum no. 13, s. 2026. These measures aim to sustain a peaceful, secure, and hazard-free learning ecosystem while protecting our learners and personnel from internal and external security threats.

Effective immediately, the following directives shall be strictly implemented and monitored:

𝗔. 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝘀

1. 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙄𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡: All students and school personnel are strictly required to wear and conspicuously display their official School Identification Card (ID) upon entering the school gate and at all times while inside the campus grounds.

2. 𝘿𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙂𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙎𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙘𝙠: All students shall undergo a thorough security check at the school gate prior to entering the campus. This process shall be conducted strictly by the designated School Security Guards in coordination with assigned school personnel or teachers-on-duty.

3. 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙝𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙄𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙨: Students are required to immediately surrender items deemed hazardous or considered active threats to the school populace. This includes, but is not limited to, knives, bladed weapons, cutters, matches/lighters, and unauthorized tools.

4. 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙡 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙋𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙡𝙮 𝙒𝙚𝙖𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨: Any student found in possession of a deadly weapon shall be immediately escorted to the administration office. The student, along with their parents or legal guardians, shall be required to undergo an immediate case conference with the Class Adviser and/or the School Guidance Advocate as soon as possible to address the disciplinary breach.

5. 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚: To ensure continuous student supervision and maintain order within the structural wings, all Class Advisers are strictly required to remain in their respective classrooms during their vacant periods or administrative hours.

6. 𝘿𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙑𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮: Subject teachers are strictly mandated to check student attendance at the beginning of every class period. Teachers must utilize the prescribed attendance sheet, wherein students are required to manually sign or affix their signature daily to verify their physical presence.

B. 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝘀

1. 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙇𝙤𝙜𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: All visitors entering the campus—including DepEd personnel from other offices—shall be strictly required to register their details in the official Visitors' Logbook and present a valid government-issued identification card (ID) for proper identification.

2. 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙎𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙂𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙌𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜: The security guard on duty shall subject all visitors to basic introductory questioning regarding the purpose of their visit and their target destination within the campus.

3. 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙎𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢: Before being allowed to proceed to their intended destination office, school visitors must surrender their valid ID to the security guard in exchange for an official School Visitor's Pass ID. The Visitor's Pass must be worn visibly at all times while inside the school premises and will be exchanged back for their personal ID upon departure.
