SCC Debate Varsity

SCC Debate Varsity We train together, with monthly general meetings, practice rounds, and casing sessions.

Our varsity is committed to being a safe-space of equal voices, free of discrimination, and prejudice, while giving importance to issues that matter in the status-quo. Furthermore, our most valuable members range from people who were campus, division and regional debate contenders in high school to people who did not know what debate was until they joined the team. Ever since our founding in 2012, the SCC Debate Club has been one of the most uprising teams in the locality.

As we mark National Heroes Day this August 31st, the SCC Debate Varsity honors the revolutionary minds and brave souls who paved the way for our nation's freedom. From the powerful quill of Dr. Jose Rizal to the fearless movements of our historic leaders, history reminds us that national progress is forged through courage, principle, and conviction.

Yet heroism did not end in the pages of our history books it lives on every day in the heart of our communities.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our modern-day heroes: the nurses and healthcare workers who selflessly guard our health, the teachers who tirelessly mold young minds and champion critical thinking, the authorities and first responders who safeguard our peace, and every everyday worker whose quiet dedication keeps our nation moving forward.
