A NEW CHAPTER IS UNDERWAY

September 6, 2026 | 8:00 PM | Virtual Meeting

The newly elected officers of the WMSU-ESU Pagadian Alumni Association held their first meeting last September 6, 2026, marking an exciting beginning for a newly organized alumni association.

Despite everyone’s busy schedules, the officers made time to come together virtually and engage in a meaningful and healthy discussion on the future of the Association, its role in supporting the alma mater, and the possibilities ahead.

Presided over by Adrianne Jan T. Layugue, WMSU alumnus, BSED-English, Batch 2008, and the newly elected President of the Association, the meeting explored promising plans and visions for the development of the alumni community and ways the Association can contribute to the continued growth of WMSU-ESU Pagadian.

As the Association is still in its early stage of organization, the officers also discussed important legal and organizational considerations that will help establish a strong, clear, and sustainable structure for the Association.

Currently serving as School Principal of Tiguma Elementary School, located in Brgy. Tiguma- the present location of WMSU-ESU Pagadian- President Layugue and the officers shared a common vision of building an alumni association that is active, united, purposeful, and genuinely connected to its alma mater.

With the officers set to take their Oath of Office soon, the excitement is building for what lies ahead.

The journey has just begun, and the vision is already taking shape.
