𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘

The Saint Columban College Clinical Legal Education Program and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Region IX formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement in support of the European Union–Governance in Justice Project on September 18, 2026, at the Pagadian City Jail Female Dormitory in Lenienza, Pagadian City.

This partnership marks a meaningful step toward improving access to justice for Persons Deprived of Liberty in Pagadian City. Through this collaboration, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to promoting legal assistance, upholding human dignity, and advancing a more accessible and responsive justice system.

For Saint Columban Law School, the initiative reflects its continuing commitment to translating legal education into meaningful service and ensuring that justice remains grounded in compassion, integrity, and accountability.

Together, we continue to advance access to justice through competence, integrity, and service.

𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗔𝗥

𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨. 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮. 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙤 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮.

As our AweSAM Three crossed the finish line of the 2026 Bar Examinations, the Saint Columban community gathered to welcome them through an evening of fellowship, dinner, and celebration. It was a simple but meaningful gathering, giving everyone a moment to pause, come together, and celebrate the courage, sacrifices, and perseverance that carried our AweSAM Three through the Bar.

𝗧𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗲𝗦𝗔𝗠 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲, your Columbano family stands proud of you and continues to lift you in prayer.

𝗧𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, while the examinations have come to an end, our prayers continue. Let us keep lifting our AweSAM Three to the Lord, entrusting their efforts, hopes, and dreams to His loving care. May He grant them peace in their hearts, strength in their waiting, and grace in every step of their journey.

Today, we celebrate not only the Dean who leads SCLS with wisdom and dedication, but also the father figure who has always been a source of guidance, support, and encouragement to the Columban family.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝗻, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸—for being patient with us, believing in us, and reminding us to keep going even when the journey gets difficult. There comes a moment when years of sacrifice, sleepless nights, and quiet prayers lead to one defining chapter.

For the three proud sons and daughters of Saint Columban College, that moment is now.

As you take on the 2026 Bar Examinations, our 𝐀𝐖𝐄𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄, you carry stories that go far beyond textbooks and lecture halls. Your journeys have been shaped by long nights of studying, moments of doubt, sacrifices made in silence, and the courage to keep going even when the path became difficult. Now, you stand before one of the biggest challenges of your lives, carrying not only your dreams but also the prayers and support of the entire SCC community.

May every lesson you have learned, every sacrifice you have made, and every prayer whispered for you give you strength in the days ahead. The Bar may be before you, but so is a future waiting to be written. We believe in you. We pray for you. And above all, we are incredibly proud of you.

As the final stretch to the 2026 Bar Exam begins, we lift in prayer the graduates of Saint Columban Law School.

May the Holy Spirit guide their minds, calm their hearts, and strengthen their spirits in the days ahead. May they be reminded that their efforts are not in vain, and that God walks with them every step of the way.
