OLT PRESIDENT, MS. LUCILE A. MAGLASANG, ATTENDS THE 133RD FULL COUNCIL MEETING OF THE REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (RDC) OF NORTHERN MINDANAO, AS THE PROVINCE OF MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL'S GEOGRAPHICAL PRIVATE SECTOR REPRESENTATIVE
OLT President and MIT Corporate Secretary, Ms. Lucile A. Maglasang, was endorsed by the Provincial Government of Misamis Occidental through the endorsement of Governor Henry Sevilla Oaminal as the province's geographical private sector representative to the Regional Development Council of Northern Mindanao. Ms. Maglasang was formally endorsed by the Provincial Government of Misamis Occidental during the 1st Quarter Meeting of the Joint Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) and Provincial Development Council (PDC) held at the Asenso Misamis Occidental Sports and Cultural Center last March 22, 2023.
Last March 24, 2023, Ms. Maglasang represented the Province of Misamis Occidental to the 133rd Full Council Meeting of the Regional Development Council of Northern Mindanao (RDC-X) held at Pearlmont Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City. RDC-X is currently chaired by the Governor of Lanao del Norte, Governor Imelda "Angging" Quibranza-Dimaporo.
RDC-X is the highest policy-making body in the region and serves as the counterpart of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board at the sub-national level. This is the forum where local efforts can be related and integrated with national development activities to ensure sustainable, participatory, and equitable development.
Ms. Maglasang's representation was made possible because of the trust and confidence of the strong and genuine leadership of the Provincial Governor of Misamis Occidental, Honorable Atty. Henry Sevilla Oaminal. This participation of the OLT President and MIT Corporate Secretary to RDC-X will advance the battle cry of Asenso Misamis Occidental, "Misamisnon Magpuyong Malinawon, Malambuon og Malipayon".
