The JHCSC Nursing Student Body Organization (NSBO) launched Project Kulay on June 19, 2026, carrying the theme โ๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ,โ to promote awareness on gender identity, gender orientation, and sexually transmitted disease (STD) and HIV prevention among Grade 12 students.
The program featured a discussion on gender identity and orientation led by Mr. Mark Roland C. Sinadjan, emphasizing respect, inclusivity, and acceptance of diverse gender expressions. This was followed by an STD and HIV awareness lecture by Mr. Vencient French Bajo, who discussed transmission, prevention, early testing, and the importance of breaking stigma through proper education.
Supporting the initiative, Mr. Japhet B. Monsion underscored the schoolโs commitment to health education and inclusivity. Through Project Kulay, the NSBO reaffirmed its dedication to empowering students with knowledge, promoting respect for diversity, and advancing Sustainable Development Goals.

The ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐จ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ณ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐๐๐๐) successfully conducted a humanitarian aid drive for families affected by the recent earthquake in General Santos City. Students, faculty members, and generous donors united to provide essential relief goods and monetary assistance for those affected by the disaster.
The organization collected ๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ญ๐ญ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐-๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐ฐ๐๐ญ๐๐ซ, ๐ ๐๐จ๐ญ๐ญ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐-๐ฆ๐ ๐ฐ๐๐ญ๐๐ซ, ๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐-๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐ฐ๐๐ญ๐๐ซ, ๐๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ง๐๐ ๐ ๐จ๐จ๐๐ฌ, ๐ ๐ฌ๐ฆ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐๐ง๐ง๐๐ ๐ ๐จ๐จ๐๐ฌ, ๐๐จ๐ญ๐ญ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฌ, ๐ก๐ฒ๐ ๐ข๐๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ฌ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ. All collected donations were turned over to DXPR Radio Station which facilitated the delivery and distribution of the relief goods to the affected families in General Santos City.
The JHCSC NSBO expressed its gratitude to everyone who contributed to the donation drive, as well as to RMN DXPR Pagadian 603 and 96.7 iFM Pagadian for helping ensure that the donations reached those who needed them most. The initiative reflected the communityโs compassion, unity, and commitment to service, proving that collective efforts can make a meaningful difference in times of crisis.

Caring for them is our responsibility and a way of showing that they are valued and loved. This meaningful activity helped build unity and teamwork in the community.

The program commenced with a comprehensive discussion of the NSBO Constitution and By-Laws for the incoming officers, followed by the endorsement of the duties and responsibilities of the Committee Chairs. It also included the discussion of proper turnover of documented formats and the responsibilities of the NSBO Officers, alongside the recommendations and outreach programs.
This ceremony serves as a vital foundation for incoming NSBO officers, equipping them with knowledge, guidance, and direction needed for them to fulfill their roles effectively. This promotes continuity in leadership, clarity of responsibilities, and strengthening of the organization's commitment to excellence, service, and accountability.
Sincere gratitude to the outgoing NSBO officers for initiating this meaningful event. Through their efforts, they managed a smooth transition of leadership, playing an essential role in continuing the legacy of service within the organization.
