𝐍𝐒𝐁𝐎 𝐈𝐆𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐊𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐘 𝐀𝐓 𝐂𝐎 𝐓𝐄𝐊 𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐍 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐄 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋

The JHCSC Nursing Student Body Organization (NSBO) launched Project Kulay on June 19, 2026, carrying the theme “𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐇𝐮𝐞, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐘𝐨𝐮,” to promote awareness on gender identity, gender orientation, and sexually transmitted disease (STD) and HIV prevention among Grade 12 students.

The program featured a discussion on gender identity and orientation led by Mr. Mark Roland C. Sinadjan, emphasizing respect, inclusivity, and acceptance of diverse gender expressions. This was followed by an STD and HIV awareness lecture by Mr. Vencient French Bajo, who discussed transmission, prevention, early testing, and the importance of breaking stigma through proper education.

Supporting the initiative, Mr. Japhet B. Monsion underscored the school’s commitment to health education and inclusivity. Through Project Kulay, the NSBO reaffirmed its dedication to empowering students with knowledge, promoting respect for diversity, and advancing Sustainable Development Goals.

𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐬

The 𝐉𝐇𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐍𝐒𝐁𝐎) successfully conducted a humanitarian aid drive for families affected by the recent earthquake in General Santos City. Students, faculty members, and generous donors united to provide essential relief goods and monetary assistance for those affected by the disaster.

The organization collected 𝟐𝟏𝟒 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟏-𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝟒 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟓𝟎𝟎-𝐦𝐋 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝟏 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝟓-𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝟑𝟕 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬, 𝟓 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐮𝐝𝐬, 𝐡𝐲𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. All collected donations were turned over to DXPR Radio Station which facilitated the delivery and distribution of the relief goods to the affected families in General Santos City.

The JHCSC NSBO expressed its gratitude to everyone who contributed to the donation drive, as well as to RMN DXPR Pagadian 603 and 96.7 iFM Pagadian for helping ensure that the donations reached those who needed them most. The initiative reflected the community’s compassion, unity, and commitment to service, proving that collective efforts can make a meaningful difference in times of crisis.

The activity aimed to teach the community about the importance of good health and proper care for the elderly. It also reminded everyone to show love, respect, and support to our Lolo and Lola.

Caring for them is our responsibility and a way of showing that they are valued and loved. This meaningful activity helped build unity and teamwork in the community.

The event served as a tribute for those student leaders who faithfully served the organization with dedication, commitment, and invaluable contributions throughout the academic year.

The program formally recognized the efforts and dedication of each committee member and classroom Secretaries and Treasurers through certificates and tokens of appreciation— highlighting their responsibility, teamwork, and collaborative effort behind the scenes that helped ensure the smooth implementation of NSBO activities, leaving a lasting impact on the student community.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: The 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐍𝐒𝐁𝐎) successfully conducted a 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 presented by the outgoing NSBO officers at the JHCSC Conference Room on May 31, 2026.

The program commenced with a comprehensive discussion of the NSBO Constitution and By-Laws for the incoming officers, followed by the endorsement of the duties and responsibilities of the Committee Chairs. It also included the discussion of proper turnover of documented formats and the responsibilities of the NSBO Officers, alongside the recommendations and outreach programs.

This ceremony serves as a vital foundation for incoming NSBO officers, equipping them with knowledge, guidance, and direction needed for them to fulfill their roles effectively. This promotes continuity in leadership, clarity of responsibilities, and strengthening of the organization's commitment to excellence, service, and accountability.

Sincere gratitude to the outgoing NSBO officers for initiating this meaningful event. Through their efforts, they managed a smooth transition of leadership, playing an essential role in continuing the legacy of service within the organization.
