Kini ang gipahibalo ni DepEd Region 9 Regional Director Ronelo Al K. Firmo atol sa gipahigayong press conference karong adlawa, Hunyo 23, 2026.

Matod ni Firmo, magpagawas sila og Regional Memorandum aron hugot nga mapatuman ang inspeksyon sa mga bag ug uban pang kagamitan sa mga estudyante aron malikayan ang pagsulod sa mga armas ug uban pang hinagiban sulod sa eskwelahan.

Gimandoan usab ang mga tulonghaan nga magpalit og metal detectors ug magkuha og Job Order o JO security guards aron masiguro ang kaluwasan sa mga estudyante ug kawani.

Ang maong lakang gisundan sa nahitabong pagpamusil sulod sa usa ka eskwelahan sa Tacloban City nga nagresulta sa pagkamatay ug pagkaangol sa pipila ka mga estudyante.

Dugang pa, palig-onon usab sa DepEd Region 9 ang ilang mental health programs ug kampanya batok sa bullying aron malikayan ang trauma, depresyon ug uban pang dili maayong pamatasan sa mga kabataan.

Over 200 parents, students join Zambo Sur school’s Brigada Eskwela - Philippine Information Agency Parents, students, and faculty members came together at the Zamboanga Del Sur School of Arts and Trades Covered Court to prepare for the Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off, demonstrating their shared commitment to creating a conducive learning environment for the upcoming school year.   PAGADIAN CITY (PIA) ....

BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026: STUDENTS’ AND PARENTS’ ORIENTATION
As part of Brigada Eskwela 2026 preparations, the school conducted a Students and Parents Orientation to discuss new school policies and important guidelines for the coming school year.
The orientation was led by our Registered Guidance Counselor , School Nurse, Librarian, and Teachers, who shared important information on students’ safety, health, learning, and school readiness. A total of 70 parents and 147 students attended and listened attentively. The orientation was conducted in four (4) batches to ensure organized and effective delivery of information.
We thank all parents and students for their active participation and cooperation. Your presence helps strengthen the partnership between home and school for a better learning environment.

BRIGADA ESKWELA KICK-OFF: SUCCESSFUL GATHERING FOR BAYANIHAN
The Brigada Eskwela kick-off was successfully held, graced by our Vice Governor Roy L. Ariosa , with us also were the barangay officials, headed by Hon. Marcelo B. Andle, Jr. alumni officers spearheaded by Mr. Rommel D. Baylon, parents, private institutions, stakeholders, partner agencies, teaching and non-teaching staff, and the school community.
We sincerely extend our deepest gratitude for your presence, generous donations, and strong commitment to support our school. Your active participation reflects the true spirit of bayanihan—working together for a safe, clean, orderly, and progressive learning environment for our learners.

We encourage the active participation of both parents and learners, as this orientation is essential in ensuring a smooth, safe, and well-guided start of the school year.
