On August 26, the STE Dean, Dr. Juzy Laygo Saguil, spearheaded the meeting, laying out the ground rules, expectations, and responsibilities of the scholars.

The gathering highlighted the importance of commitment, accountability, cooperation, and service as our scholars begin this meaningful journey.

On the 24th of August, in collaboration with the High School Department and the Aguinaldo International School, and facilitated by Mr. Ed Allen R. Uriarte, the STE deployed its students to their respective cooperating teachers. This remarkable event highlighted the volunteerism, cooperation, and commitment of STE students as they took their first steps toward fulfilling their responsibilities under the scholarship program.

Through this initiative, students are given the opportunity to provide meaningful service in exchange for a full scholarship, allowing them to contribute their time, skills, and dedication while pursuing their education. More than just a scholarship opportunity, the program embodies the values of service, responsibility, and giving back to the school community.

Pursuant to the declaration of Hon. Franciscoโ€œIskoโ€ Moreno Domagoso, face-to-face classes in all levels are suspended tomorrow (August 10, 2026), due to inclement weather brought about by the southwest monsoon enhanced by Tropical Cyclone Dolphin.

To ensure continuity of learning, we will implement online synchronous classes.

All offices will remain open and shall continue regular operations.

The STEllars successfully elected their First-Year Subject Representatives during an election facilitated by STE Student Council, President Aleha D. Brier and Executive Secretary, Melvin Lanzon.

The newly elected first-year subject representatives are:

Ernestinah Elaine Trajeh โ€“ Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English.

Michaella Dela Fuente โ€“ Bachelor of Elementary Education.

Shiene Ashley Maquiddang โ€“ Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Social Sciences.

Jay D. Garcia โ€“ Bachelor of Physical Education.

Jay D. Garcia was also elected as the Overall First-Year Representative, serving as the voice of the entire First-Year STE student body.

The STEllars charted new horizons as a new generation of future educators officially embarked on their journey in the School of Teacher Education.

STE Dean, Dr. Juzy Laygo Saguil formally inducted the first-year students and transferees yesterday, 5th day of August at 9:00 AM in Rooms 1101โ€“1103, Buildings 2 & 3, Emilio Aguinaldo College.

The program centered on introducing the Vision, Mission, Philosophy, and Objectives (PMVOs) of EAC-Manila, laying a strong foundation for the newest STEllars as they begin their academic and professional journey toward becoming future educators.

During the orientation, Dr. Saguil also shared inspiring words of encouragement, urging the students to uphold virtue, excellence , and service as they pursue the teaching profession. She likewise introduced the School of Teacher Education faculty members, allowing the newest STEllars to become acquainted with the educators who will guide and mentor them throughout their academic journey. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ“š

The ๐—•๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜๐˜€๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ฟ was successfully conducted on the 5th of August, and the session provided valuable insights and guidance on navigating features of Brightspace to enhance the freshmen and transferees' learning experiences.

Throughout the session, the students gained a deeper understanding of Brightspace tools and features to support a more flexible and interactive learning process. Special thanks to Dr. Michelle M. Carodan for facilitating and sharing her expertise, and to everyone who took part in making the seminar productive and meaningful.

The Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) Center for Research & Publication successfully conducted an intensive Research Writing Training on July 29, 2026, for incoming 3rd and 4th-year School of Teacher Education (STE) learners. ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ

Designed to cultivate rigorous academic inquiry and elevate scholarly writing skills, the session provided participants with comprehensive guidance on core research methodologies, data analysis, citation standards, and ethical considerations in research. ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ“Š
