From Lecture to Application: Mastering Handcuffing Techniques

The LSU Criminology Interns participated in a hands-on lecture and practical application on the different types of handcuffing techniques, translating classroom knowledge into practical, field-oriented skills.

The training was guided by PMSg Peregrino of the Misamis Occidental Maritime Police Station (MARPSTA), under the supervision of Station Chief PMaj Joel M. Esic.

Through this practical session, the interns strengthened their knowledge and skills in the proper, safe, and effective application of handcuffing techniques while developing the discipline, precision, control, and professionalism expected of future criminologists and law enforcement practitioners.
