TESDA DDG VIDAL VILLANUEVA III VISITS MIT

Misamis Institute of Technology (MIT) warmly welcomed TESDA Deputy Director General (DDG) Vidal D. Villanueva III during his visit to the Institution, a new entrant Technical-Vocational Institution (TVI) in Misamis Occidental.

The visit formed part of DDG Villanueva’s side trip during his official engagements in Northern Mindanao. He was accompanied by TESDA Misamis Occidental Provincial Director Romel M. Natad and other TESDA officials and personnel.

During the visit, DDG Villanueva was given a tour of MIT’s facilities and introduced to the Institution’s emerging technical-vocational education and training initiatives. As a new TVI, MIT is expanding its educational offerings through skills training courses and diploma programs designed to complement and strengthen the competencies of maritime cadets and learners in Office Administration, Communication, and Computer Science.

MIT looks forward to strengthening its partnership with TESDA as it broadens opportunities for learners to acquire industry-relevant, competency-based, and employment-oriented skills, complementing the Institution’s existing higher education programs and contributing to the development of a more skilled and competitive workforce in Misamis Occidental.

This morning, we gathered at the MGM Gym of Misamis Institute of Technology for our Holy Mass for the month of August. May this celebration of faith remind us to keep God at the center of our lives, studies, and daily endeavors.

May His grace guide us, strengthen us, and bless our whole MIT community throughout this month.

Happening now: Joint monthly mass of MIT and OLT for the academic year 2026-2027 First Semester and also known as the Mass of the Holy Spirit. This mass is also dedicated for the birthday of the late Don Leonardo Maglasang the founder of MIT. We thank the Lord for the gift of his life and for pouring out his love and dedication and making the school to what it is today.

This morning, our freshmen took their first big steps around campus. Exploring the halls, facilities, and spaces that will soon feel like home. From classrooms to open grounds, every corner held a new discovery and a little more excitement for the journey ahead.

Campus Tour is an essential activity of the new and transferee students. This is to get acquainted or familiarize with the school facilities, amenities, laboratories etc.
