Stepping into a new chapter of discipline and leadership, the Naval Reserve Officers' Training Corps Unit (NROTCU) of Misamis Institute of Technology (MIT) Ozamiz officially launched its first training day on August 15, 2026. The day marked a resounding success, setting a strong and determined tone for the midshipmen as they embarked on their journey of service and excellence. From the crisp ex*****on of basic maneuvers to the shared enthusiasm on the drill grounds, every moment reflected the grit and commitment of the new cadets. Guided by the steadfast leadership of TSgt. Irvin Glen S Gornez PN(M) and SN2 Jella Ricca B Saratao PN, the unit demonstrated exceptional teamwork and readiness right out of the gate. This successful opening is just the beginning of a transformative path toward developing capable, resilient, and honor-bound future maritime leaders.

All first-year students are required to enroll. Please ensure you have the following requirements ready:

The Misamis Institute of Technology (MIT) Basic Naval Reserve Officersโ€™ Training Corps (NROTC) proudly congratulates the C.Y. 2025โ€“2026 MS2 graduates for successfully completing another significant milestone in their journey as future leaders and officers.

Your perseverance, discipline, and dedication throughout the year have reflected the true values of honor, courage, and commitment. From rigorous training to mastering leadership and squad tactics, you have shown unwavering determination and the will to succeed.

This achievement would not have been possible without the guidance and support of our Navy officers, especially LTJG Carlo S. Tejada PN, whose leadership continues to inspire and strengthen our unit.

We also extend our sincerest gratitude to our incredible instructors, TSGT. Ferdinand R. Gempesaw CMAA PN (M) and ASN. Oscar L.
