BlOpeeps' Extravaganza: Movies, Munchies, and Handcrafted Goodness! 🎥🍿🧶

The MUBS organization truly elevated the 96th foundation week (November,10-15,2025) experience this year with their sensational movie booth! 🤩 It wasn't just a visual treat; it was an immersive experience that engaged all the senses, thanks to the addition of delightful perfumes 🌸

Located in the comfortable, air-conditioned rooms of the Natural Science Building, the movie booth provided a cool and inviting escape into the world of cinema. The main draw was horror movies, which attracted avid audiences and swiftly sold out all the tickets. Subtle, themed fragrances welcomed guests as they entered, enhancing the mood of each movie and making for an incredibly immersive experience.

The food stands offered a variety of snacks and drinks while charming handcrafted crochet items were available nearby. The combination of captivating scents, and thrilling movies made the BlOpeeps' booth the talk of the event! 🎉

The success of this innovative event was driven by the dedication and creativity of Dr. Yunalyn Villantes and Ms. Stephanie Gumahad, along with the dynamic leadership of Ms. Monique Ponday. Their vision transformed the movie booth into an unforgettable experience for the entire school community. ❤️

A huge round of applause to these inspiring leaders, the dedicated members and officers of BlOpeeps, and everyone who supported the movie booth! 🙌 This event proved that with a touch of creativity and a lot of teamwork, anything is possible.

Coke can make you look older because of the sugar it contains. Yes, that's right! Excessive sugar leads to glycation, a process that damages collagen, the protein that keeps skin firm and youthful (Dr. Nicholas Perricone, 2023). But despite that, there is someone who seems untouched by aging. A person who proudly says “Coke is life” and still carries a cutesy, childlike glow.👨‍🏫💖

🌟 A proud moment at the 4th International Conference on Biodiversity and Climate Change (IConBaCC 2025), held on September 25–26, 2025, at the Hilarion T. Feliciano Activity Center, Misamis University, Ozamiz City.

Delegates stood proudly in front of the event stage, reflecting the conference theme: “Sustainable Peace with Nature: A Global Commitment towards Net Zero.” This international gathering brought together researchers, educators, and advocates to share insights, exchange knowledge, and strengthen global collaboration for biodiversity conservation and climate action.

On September 25, 2025, poster presenter participants , Monique Ponday, Aysi Lagbunan, and Jacob Espiga proudly represented their research, engaging with fellow delegates and experts in the field. Their contribution reflected the spirit of collaboration and innovation that IConBaCC continues to foster in the fight against climate change.

On the following day, September 26, 2025, the Biology students eagerly participated on the event gaining inspiration and valuable insights from the oral presenters and plenary speakers. The sessions were filled with sophisticated intellectual exploration, as each speaker shared unique, engaging, and impactful research with meaningful implications for science and society.

This remarkable experience left the Biology students inspired and more aware of their vital role in advancing biodiversity conservation and climate action. 🌍🌱
