After a grueling and high-stakes battle of wits, La Salle University Team A officially brought home the 2nd Place Grand Prize at the ASENSO Ozamiz City Trivia Night Championship Round tonight, July 18, 2026!

The Championship Round brought together the absolute sharpest minds in the region, featuring elite competing teams from various National Government Agencies, Colleges and Universities, and Clustered Barangay. Standing tall among such diverse and formidable opponents, our brilliant contingent secured a well-deserved ₱25,000 cash prize, proving that excellence, grit, and teamwork run deep in our Lasallian blood.

𝐊𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐍 | La Salle University - (LSU) Ozamiz secured the first and second places in the ASENSO Ozamiz City Trivia Night Semi-Finals tonight.

LSU Team A represented by Christian Rey Yap Villamor, Clarence S. Abreo, Ericka Jeanne B. Opada, Rob Jake Baloyo, and John Brix Siao bagged top place, while LSU Team B composed of Gienne Gyllr Xiathea B. Abarco, Loida Mari M. Calibat, Aidan Wyn Adorna, Gerard C. Sayman and Denver Lao landed second.

Lasallians were faced against different teams from Tangub City Global College (TCGC), Medina College (MC), Misamis Institute of Technology (MIT) and University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) - Panaon, with TCGC and MC taking the third and fourth spots respectively.

Winners were given cash prizes wherein the first received ₱10,000 and the second earned ₱7,000.

The teams will compete in the championship round tomorrow.

We are pleased to announce that our Tourism and Hospitality Management students have completed their internship at 𝑶𝒌𝒂𝒅𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒍𝒂, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒃𝒆𝒔 𝑭𝒊𝒗𝒆-𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔. Through this immersive learning experience, they gained firsthand exposure to world-class hospitality operations and service excellence within one of the country’s premier integrated resort destinations.
