Fifty (50) DepEd teachers from the four divisions of Misamis Occidentalโ€” Misamis Occidental Division, Oroquieta City Division, Ozamiz City Division, and Tangub City Divisionโ€” joined TechIGNITEd 2026 through the generous support of Governor Henry S. Oaminal.

More than a training on digital tools, TechIGNITEd 2026 emphasized the important role of technology in education without making it the be-all and end-all of the learning process. It highlighted how even a simple everyday tool already at their disposal can be very powerful when used strategically and purposefully.

Overall, the three-day event brought together more ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ง 80 ๐ž๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ฌ๐œ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐š๐œ๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐Œ๐ข๐ง๐๐š๐ง๐š๐จ, along with educational technology partners, sponsors, faculty, students, and administrators of LSU, and our SPARKEd Center partners. Beyond the sessions and workshops, TechIGNITEd became a space for educators to share practices, exchange ideas, and reconnect with the common mission of enriching learning experiences for their students.
