As the new year dawns, let us take a collective breath and turn our focus inward. The past year has had its challenges, and this is a time to pause, reflect, and set intentions for the months ahead, grounded in hope and peace.

By actively acknowledging the abundance already present in our lives, we cultivate a heart of thankfulness through mindful reflection, which opens us to greater joy and wisdom and prepares our spirits for the journey ahead, moving beyond typical resolutions to align our actions with our deepest values.

Come, let us nourish our souls together. Let us begin this new year not with a frantic chase for the new, but with a grateful embrace of the eternal grace within and around us.

Join us as we shift our perspective from resolutions rooted in "doing more" to intentions centered on "being more"β€”more present, more peaceful, and more grateful.

The local government unit of Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur, led by Vice Mayor Myrte Jay A. Soronio and their office heads, visited our Oroquieta City MONHS School-Based Teen Center to learn about our youth programs and achievements. We also shared how Mayor "Lem" Lemuel Meyrick Mananggit Acosta is promoting good governance through Teen Center programs that create safe and supportive environments for young people. Our collaboration with ISDN members and government agencies has helped establish one of the best Teen Centers in Region X.
We also shared ideas and success stories that highlighted the need for safe spaces and empowering programs for youth.

The visit concluded with a tour of our youth-centered facilitiesβ€”proof that when leadership, heart, and purpose come together, transformation happens.

When we learn from one another, we grow stronger together.

The MONHS School-Based Teen Center, in collaboration with the DepEd Oroquieta City Division and the City Health Office, conducted ASRH classes in Langcangan Integrated School on December 3, 2025 ( afternoon ).

ASRH classes aim to foster and promote the overall well-being of young people, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become informed, empowered, and responsible individuals who prioritize their health as they navigate their developmental journey.

This initiative also serves as a way for the government to address the challenges young people face today, including teenage pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, HIV and AIDS, substance abuse, mental health issues, and violenceβ€”factors that can hinder them from reaching their goals and aspirations in life.

Together, we build a generation that is empowered, informed, and ready for a brighter future. πŸ’™
