, ๐๐ฟ๐ด๐. ๐ง๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ, ๐ข๐ฟ๐ผ๐พ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ถ๐๐, ๐ ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ๐ ๐ข๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐น. The activity was conducted as part of the ๐ณ๐๐ต ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ for the ๐ญ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ, ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐บ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑโ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ, with the objective of promoting volunteerism, community service, and civic responsibility among the participating cadets.
The activity was conducted under the leadership of ๐ ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ก๐ง๐๐ข๐ก๐ฌ ๐ฆ ๐๐๐๐ข (๐๐) ๐ฃ๐, Commandant, together with ๐ง๐ฆ๐ด ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ๐ (๐๐ป๐ณ) ๐ฃ๐, Admin NCO, and the dedicated members of the ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฆ๐๐ฎ๐ณ๐ณ.
The activity commenced with the cleaning and preparation of the surrounding area to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and a safe environment for all participants. Following the clean-up, registration was conducted for cadets and volunteers who wished to participate in the bloodletting activity.
The ๐ฃ๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ arrived and assisted in the proper conduct of the activity. Participants were provided with the necessary forms to accomplish before proceeding to the medical screening process. The screening was conducted to determine whether the participants were qualified to donate blood. This included checking their ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ฑ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐, ๐ฏ๐น๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ, ๐ฏ๐น๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ ๐๐๐ฝ๐ฒ, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, followed by the necessary medical assessment.
After the screening process, qualified cadets proceeded with the ๐ฏ๐น๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป procedure under the supervision and assistance of the Philippine Red Cross medical team. The activity was conducted in an orderly, safe, and disciplined manner with the cooperation of the ROTC Training Staff and participating cadets.
After several hours of bloodletting and upon completion of the necessary recovery period, cadets who successfully donated blood were properly assisted and allowed to return home. Those who were found not qualified to donate blood were also properly informed and dismissed after completing the necessary procedures.
The successful conduct of the Bloodletting Activity demonstrated the SCC ROTC Program's commitment to volunteerism, community service, discipline, and civic responsibility. It also provided the cadets with an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause and help support the community through voluntary blood donation.
