The recent tragedy at San Jose National High School has left students, families, teachers, and the entire community carrying a burden no one should ever have to bear. As fellow learners and advocates of compassion, we stand in solidarity with those affected and extend our deepest prayers and support during this difficult time.

The Regional Federation of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (RFSSLG) Region VIII, in collaboration with the San Jose National High School SSLG, is launching a donation drive to provide assistance to the victims and their families.

Every peso, no matter how small, can help ease the challenges they face as they begin the long journey toward healing and recovery.

The Ormoc City Youth Development Office gathered youth leaders from different organizations through Panagtapok: Youth Organization Assembly — a meaningful event that promoted collaboration, participation, awareness, and youth empowerment.

Through inspiring discussions and shared experiences from speakers and fellow leaders, the assembly reminded us that leadership requires courage, commitment, and the willingness to grow beyond our comfort zones.

One message stood out throughout the event: when the youth move together with purpose and dedication, they become a powerful force for change.

The Division Federations of SSLG, YES-O, and BKD of SDO Ormoc City extend our gratitude to the City Youth Development Office for organizing this impactful gathering.

‎This Labor Day, hindi sapat ang simpleng pagkilala. Kailangan maramdaman ng bawat manggagawa na mahalaga sila, na ang kanilang pagod ay may halaga. Hindi dapat kapalit ng sakripisyo ang kakulangan.

‎May workers be supported through fair opportunities, safe conditions, and genuine respect for their efforts. Let us listen, appreciate, and take part in building a community where every worker feels valued and protected.
