In collaboration with the 𝑆𝑆𝐿𝐺, 𝐵𝑆𝑃, and 𝑊𝐿𝐶 𝐸𝑅𝑇, the WLC Senior Plus Red Cross Youth actively assisted in the Room-to-Room Lectures for the 𝐶𝑎𝑚𝑝𝑢𝑠-𝑊𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝐸𝑎𝑟𝑡ℎ𝑞𝑢𝑎𝑘𝑒 𝑆𝑎𝑓𝑒𝑡𝑦 𝐶𝑎𝑚𝑝𝑎𝑖𝑔𝒏 last March 12, 2025.📢

Organized by the 𝐷𝑅𝑅𝑀, the lectures provided comprehensive education on earthquake preparedness and safety measures—covering what to do before, during, and after an earthquake. 🛡️

In steadfast commitment to the safety and well-being of our academic community, the WLC Senior Plus Red Cross Youth (𝑆𝑃𝑅𝐶𝑌), in unified coordination with the 𝐶𝑅𝐶𝑌 and 𝐸𝑅𝑇, served as the primary medical team during the 81𝑠𝑡 𝐹𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐴𝑛𝑛𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑎𝑟𝑦 of Western Leyte College. ⛑️

Through vigilant service and collaboration, our volunteers ensured a secure and successful celebration for all.♥️

They say the Senior Plus Red Cross Youth are experts in first aid, but last Friday, February 13, we specialized in "First Loves." From the shy smiles at our ceremony arch to the nervous giggles while signing the certificates, love was the ultimate primary responder! ❤️⛑️

We weren't just checking pulses; we were watching hearts skip a beat. To everyone who stopped by our Civil Wedding Booth—thank you for letting us be part of your "I do" moment. Whether it was a pinky swear or a lifetime promise, you made our day unforgettable! 🌹✍️

𝐘𝐕𝐅𝐂 2025: 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝! 🚨

Two days of learning, leading, and leveling up—complete! The Youth Volunteer Formation Course (YVFC) held last November 16 & 23 at Western Leyte College was a full-on success—powered by WLC SPRCY and joined by our spirited friends from WLCCRCY!

📅 September 29, 2025 | During the opening of Intramurals 2025 held at the Ormoc City Superdome, the volunteers from the Senior Plus Red Cross Youth, in coordination with the College Red Cross Youth (CRCY) and the Emergency Response Team (ERT), provided essential medical support throughout the event.

🩺 The volunteers remained vigilant and responsive, conducting health checks and ensuring the safety of all participants—especially during the high-energy cheerdance competition 🤸‍♀️💃, where crowd excitement and performer intensity were at their peak.

𝐖𝐋𝐂 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 – 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬 2025 ⚽🤾‍♂️🏃‍♂️

In a strong display of commitment and compassion, our volunteers from the Senior Plus Red Cross Youth, together with the College Red Cross Youth (CRCY) and the Emergency Response Team (ERT), proudly served as medics during the advanced games of Intramurals 2025.

Last September 21, 2025, they stood vigilant at the Western Leyte College Gym during the volleyball matches—ensuring athletes played with confidence and safety. Then, on September 27, 2025, they extended their service to the Ormoc Sports Complex, providing medical support during the track and field events, including throwing disciplines and other athletic challenges.

Our volunteers’ presence across these high-energy competitions reflected the true spirit of humanitarian service: alert, compassionate, and always ready to respond.

✨BUWAN NG WIKA CULMINATION

On August 27, 2025, the WLC SPRCY team proudly embodied the spirit of this year’s theme—“Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa.” Through their readiness, dedication, and teamwork, they celebrated not just language, but the unity and heritage it represents. Tunay ngang makasaysayan ang kanilang ambag sa pagtatapos ng Buwan ng Wika! 🇵🇭💬

The Western Leyte College Senior Plus Red Cross Youth exemplified the true spirit of service during last month’s Nutrition Month celebration, held on July 30, 2025—always first, always ready, always there. 💪 Their dedication to coordination, assistance, and support made every moment of the event smooth, safe, and meaningful.
