‎Ipil National High School proudly emerges as the 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 – 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝗰𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗲𝗹 during the Earth Hour 2026 Eco Reels Competition at SM Center Ormoc, rising above nine competing schools.

‎Beyond the recognition, the team also took part in the 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀: 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀, where they gained meaningful insights on energy conservation and simple ways to protect our planet—reminding us that real change begins with awareness.

Official Announcement: Cancellation of Mr. & Ms. Ipil NHS and Masquerade Ball

To the Valued Students, Parents, and Faculty of Ipil National High School:

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of the upcoming Mr. and Ms. Ipil NHS and the Masquerade Ball.

While we were looking forward to celebrating this evening of elegance and school spirit with you, we must prioritize our commitment to the latest mandates issued by the Department of Education (DepEd). After careful deliberation, it was determined that proceeding with these events is no longer possible due to unavoidable circumstances and the need to maintain strict adherence to national educational guidelines.

Important Considerations:

- To our Students: We share in your disappointment. We know how much effort and excitement goes into preparing for these milestones.

- To our Parents: We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, particularly regarding gown rentals, suit bookings, or other preparations already underway.

- To our Teachers: Thank you for the time and energy you have already invested in the planning stages.

We kindly ask for your utmost understanding and consideration regarding this difficult decision. Our primary goal remains the well-being of our community and ensuring our school operations align with the standards set by our governing bodies.

‎Ipil National High School proudly marks a historic moment as its Senior High Debate Team clinches 2nd place in the championship round, following a top finish in the elimination round. The competition was held at the RTR Conference Hall of New Ormoc City National High School, with eight districts competing at the SHS level.
‎
‎Debaters Jeric, Zeke, and Shayanne faced the OCSHS team in a gripping final. Under the guidance of Coach Emmalyn F. Quiling, they delivered speeches, rebuttals, and interpellations with skill, confidence, and heart.
‎
‎The debate was intense and convincing, leaving adjudicators from Cebu impressed by both teams’ performance. This achievement inspires pride and marks a milestone for Ipil NHS.

‎Congratulations to our SHS Debate Team for representing the school with honor, and to the JHS Debate Team—Aira, Sophia, and Stephanie—guided by Ma’am Alicaya, for their dedication and hard work.
