This policy is anchored on national and institutional mandates, including guidelines on ensuring a safe and motivating learning environment, school watching and hazard mapping, healthy food and beverage choices, and the continuation of road-clearing operations. These measures aim to reinforce campus security, protect learner welfare, mitigate potential hazards, and maintain an orderly school environment.

Western Leyte College of Ormoc City, Inc. will permanently delete inactive .edu.ph Google accounts on August 1, 2026. Affected users are advised to back up important files and emails before the deadline.

This initiative aims to enhance account security and optimize Google Workspace storage for active users.

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | The official schedule for the issuance of student identification cards is now available. Incoming first-year and transferee students are advised to check the attached schedule and report only on the date assigned to their respective department.

Requirements (Freshmen):
• Original Enrollment Receipt
• One (1) Photocopy of the Enrollment Receipt

Important Reminders:
• Strictly follow the schedule assigned to your department.
• Students who fail to appear on their scheduled date will be accommodated only after all departmental schedules have been completed.
• For inquiries or concerns regarding ID issuance, please visit the designated office for assistance.

𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | As of June 29, 5:00AM from DOST-PAGASA

DOST-PAGASA Weather Advisory No. 4 indicates that a Low Pressure Area (LPA) inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) is being closely monitored and has a medium chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

The Province of Leyte is expected to experience heavy rainfall ranging from 50 to 100 millimeters throughout the day. Higher rainfall amounts are possible in mountainous and elevated areas, while the effects may be intensified by previous days' accumulated rainfall, increasing the risk of flooding and landslides.

All students, faculty members, staff, and the entire WLC community are strongly encouraged to remain vigilant, avoid flood- and landslide-prone areas whenever possible, exercise caution when traveling, and stay informed through official weather bulletins and school announcements.

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | Pursuant to Memorandum No. 23, s. 2025 issued by the Office of the Human Resources Officer, all students, employees, and visitors are hereby informed that security personnel are no longer authorized to receive, hold, or release personal items, parcels, packages, or deliveries on behalf of any individual within the institution.

Furthermore, members of the WLC community are strongly discouraged from using the school's address or any of its campuses as the default delivery address for personal shipments. Only official correspondence and deliveries addressed to Western Leyte College shall be accepted.

This policy is being implemented to enhance campus safety, security, and operational efficiency. The cooperation and strict compliance of everyone concerned are highly appreciated.

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | In accordance with Memorandum No. 21, Series of 2026, issued by the Office of the President, all work and classes at Western Leyte College of Ormoc City, Inc. are hereby suspended on June 29–30, 2026 in celebration of the Ormoc City Fiesta.

Regular office operations and academic activities shall resume on July 1, 2026 (Wednesday).

All students, faculty members, staff, and concerned stakeholders are advised to be guided accordingly.
