TRIALOGUE: Bridging the Classroom, Field, and Community
Meaningful social work education does not end inside the classroom—it comes alive through dialogue, collaboration, reflection, and practice in the community. 💙
We are grateful for the opportunity to conduct a series of TRIALOGUE sessions bringing together our Field Instruction Students, School Field Supervisors, and Agency Field Supervisors assigned at the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO).
These sessions provide a valuable space to listen, reflect, share experiences, address challenges, strengthen supervision, and connect academic learning with actual social work practice. Through this collaborative process, we continue to ensure that our students are guided not only by theories and competencies but also by the realities, values, and responsibilities of professional social work.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the City Social Welfare and Development Office under the leadership of Ms. Maribel Gucela, RSW, OIC-CSWD, for the continued support and partnership in the professional formation of our future social workers.
Special thanks to our dedicated Agency Field Supervisors who generously share their knowledge, experience, and mentorship with our students:
🌟 Ms. Lourdes B. Devilla, RSW
Social Welfare Officer III – District 1
🌟 Ms. Melinia Q. Demeterio, RSW
Social Welfare Officer III – District 2
🌟 Ms. Alexandria Kris T. Valenciano, RSW
Social Welfare Officer III – District IV
🌟 Ms. Thelma M. Maceda, RSW
Social Welfare Officer III – District 6
Your commitment to mentoring our students helps bridge the gap between academic preparation and professional practice and strengthens the next generation of social workers who will serve individuals, families, groups, and communities with competence, compassion, and integrity.
To our Field Instruction Students and School Field Supervisors, thank you as well for actively participating in these conversations and for making field education a shared learning experience.
Together, we build a stronger partnership among the Academe–Agency–Students, creating a field education environment where learning becomes practice, practice becomes reflection, and reflection becomes meaningful social change.
Learning in the classroom. Growing in the field. Serving the community.
TRIALOGUE: Where Academe, Agency, and Students Meet for Transformative Social Work Education. 💙

The journey to becoming a Registered Social Worker begins with character, compassion, and commitment.

May these words serve as a reminder to every BSSW student that true success is measured not only by passing the licensure examination but by living the values of the profession every day. Continue to lead with empathy, uphold integrity, and be instruments of hope and social justice.
