Good evening to all Academic Achievers of Batch 2022!

It is our pleasure to inform you that we will be conducting a face-to-face Recognition on August 19 for all Academic Achievers of Batch 2022, awarding you with your well-deserved medals. The said event will be held in Eastern Visayas State University - Ormoc Campus' Function Hall at 1 PM. Please wear your uniform and bring with you your Certificate of Merit.

Dear graduating students,

Greetings to you! We cordially invite you to our Baccalaureate Mass that will take place at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish on July 22, 2022 at 9:00 AM.

Please wear your school uniform and toga, including the hood and cap. You are allowed to bring any offertory gifts (e.g. flowers, fruits, eggs, candles, church wine, and etc.) during the offertory procession.

Graduation day is fast approaching! Who’s excited? As a part of our preparation, we will be having our Graduation practices on the following dates:

• July 4 & 7, 2022 – Graduation Practice of the 1st Batch: Computer Studies Department & Teacher Education Department. Time of practice will be 9AM - 12NN and 1PM – 4PM at EVSU-OC.
• July 5 & 8, 2022 - Graduation Practice of the 2nd Batch: Engineering Department, Industrial Technology Department & Business and Management Department. Time of practice will be 9AM - 12NN and 1PM – 4PM at EVSU-OC.
• July 19, 2022 – Graduation Practice BY BATCH. First batch will be from 9:00AM to 12:00NN, while second batch will be from 1:00PM-4:00PM at EVSU-OC.
• July 20, 2022 – Graduation Practice of ALL BATCHES. Time of practice will be 9AM - 12NN and 1PM – 4PM at EVSU-OC.
• July 21, 2022 – FINAL Graduation Practice of ALL BATCHES. Time of practice will be 9AM - 12NN and 1PM – 4PM at Ormoc City SUPERDOME.

Please take note of the dates and be around during your schedule.

P.S. Provide your own copy of the lyrics for the songs. Also, make sure to memorize the EVSU Hymn.

UPDATE:

To those who had their photos taken outside EVSU, we will be using your photo wearing the toga and cap with whatever background and hood it originally had FOR THE YEARBOOK. At least with this compromise, you can flex the original quality of your photo in the Yearbook. But unfortunately, regarding the LED wall photo, we still can't change the updated requirement. It would still be your photo with the EVSU hood.

Grads, it's a month before our big day. Please start to learn our graduation song, as well as the tribute to our parents. Our graduation song is “This is My Now” by Jordin Sparks and our tribute to parents is a song called “MAPA” by SB19.

You can start listening and rehearsing now so you will be ready to sing at the practice and the event. You may want to print out copies of the lyrics for yourself so you will be prepared to sing along during practice, and will have them memorized for the big day of the graduation ceremony.

Information about graduation practice schedules will be posted soon.

Submission of the softcopies will NOT be compulsory. We will use the copies only for the yearbook and to display your photo on the LED wall during the graduation ceremony. If you want your image to be used, please submit the requested copies. If you do not mind if we use the EVSU logo instead of your image, you are not required to submit.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

For those who had their pictorial outside EVSU,

According to Dr. De Cadiz, we will no longer accept the softcopies of your pictorial photos until and unless it complies to the following criteria:

1. Same shade of the EVSU hood
2. Same shape and cut of the EVSU hood
3. White background

Which means that your hood MUST look exactly the same as the EVSU hood.

HOWEVER, you are not allowed to put the EVSU logo in your picture since the photo studios are NOT authorized to use the EVSU logo.

IF you have trouble complying to the said criteria, you can go to the EVSU Media's office and find a way to borrow the TOGA & hood for you to take your own photo inside the room. But make sure to ask permission and do this when the room, TOGA and hood are vacant and not in use.

We will be needing two pictures:

1. EVSU TOGA while holding the cap
2. EVSU TOGA while wearing the cap

DEADLINE: JUNE 30, 2022

Again, please disseminate nga dili kami ang nangayo ana nga mga soft copy, if ever naa man mi part ana, magkuha rami ug pictures para sa inyuha yearbook ug presentation sa led wall para sa graduation. Sa mga wala pa nakapictorial sa gawas. Kindly tell the studio nalang nga ang need nato nga package kay ang 3 kabook. The following must be uploaded in the attached google drive. For those nagpapicture outside, kung unsa lang ang included sa 3 kabook maoy i'upload.

2. Toga with cap (white background)
3. Toga while holding the cap (with background)

Since wala paman nakapapicture ang uban. Pwede man mo ka request sa studio kung asa mo nagpa picture kung unsa ang package sa evsu. It depends on you nalang kung mag add mo didto og filipiniana or whatsoever.

Answer: Before magsubmit, RENAME your pictures with this format
