Magaswe Elementary School is awarded Best Literacy Interventionist in the recently concluded 15 Saturdays Program of Ormoc City Division in partnership with the City Government of Ormoc.

Also known as the Reading Camp, the said program's ultimate goal is to bridge the learning gaps brought by the pandemic through reading interventions.

25 reading campers completed the program and received rice incentives from LGU-Ormoc.

Dr. Marilyn B. Siao, Director III of the Bureau of Learning Delivery-DepEd Central Office visits Magaswe Elementary School today to monitor the delivery of instruction and implementation of programs under the Multigrade Program in Philippine Education.

A practical solution to address barriers to education such as access and inclusion, the multigrade program is a reasonable learning delivery especially in remote, isolated, hard-to-reach, low-resourced, sparsely populated and underserved communities.

Director Siao emphasizes the indispensable roles of both the community and the school for the success and sustainability of the said program.
